I'd say I prefer the back for most rides, but there are many for which I much prefer the front:
- B&M inverts
- Dive Coasters
- some launch coasters
- certain notoriously rough coasters
When Efteling is quiet it is easily the most relaxed day, however I agree with others that it can get absolutely rammed on summer Saturdays.
Alton Towers can be rather stressful whilst trying to planout a day given the size of the place and how busy it gets.
Paultons Park is very chilled.
I'm still excited 😊
It looks like nothing I've seen at any parks I've visited. Maybe it's a bit short, but so are Stealth and Oblivion and I love both of them.
Favourite: Revenge of the Mummy - killer ride with a great theme and launch.
Worst: Temple of the Nighthawk - legitimately nauseating. Meanderingly long ride with nothing to see in a tin that gets to hot. In the bin.
Depends upon how 'kiddie' the kiddie coaster is. I would never ride a wacky worm or zieier tivoli, and would ride a jr vekoma if it's big enough (e.g. I wouldn't ride Barnstormer).
I see a lot of people talking about queasiness of FLY. I get motion sick on some rides, which is a bummer as an enthusiast, however I really want to try FLY. Is it really that bad? Are any rows better to avoid queasiness (e.g. Black Mamba in the back row made me slightly queasy - but not in a...
Now that I think about it I think I've never actually been on a relocated coaster.
The only exception would be Flying Fish at Thorpe Park, which has only been relocated within the park itself.
Agreed, as many have pointed out elsewhere the pun doesn't even work, as pandemonium is pronounced Pand-ah-monium, not Pand-ee-monium like Candy.
I would like to nominate F.L.Y. for the worst names. Do the letter even stand for anything?
The track is still there, but I wish I'd ridden Space Mountain: De La Terre A La Lune at Disneyland Paris. I love that theme and missed out on riding it by 1 year when it became Mission 2.
In terms of tracks themselves, I'd love to ride Big Bad Wolf at BGW.
Obviously all parks that are big require walking, however obviously special mention needs to be given for Alton Towers and Efteling for gigantic expanses containing very little and big gaps between major rides (even though they are both lovely walks).
I've never done Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I live 6 hours drive away currently, but for 5 years I lived in Manchester and I never visited!
Truth be told I wrote it off in my head as being really cheap and tacky. With hindsight it might be both if those things, but it also has a lot of rare or...
I agree with this. When screens are all there is, or are done poorly they are horrible. For example I hated the screen sections of Forbidden Journey. However, Spiderman used them so effectively.
