The universe has spared you. Thorpe is my local theme park, and I've never done most of the flat rides: Samurai, Vortex, Rush, Quantum, Zodiac or even Storm in a Teacup.

But it is equally a world record...from 2 decades ago.

Pros: it's good to see the park getting a big new coaster and it's good to see one less coaster rotting away in pieces in a field. Cons: Everything else.

I'm an Architect so I have to deal with planning applications a lot. You will get objections all the time, it's truly not an indication of the end result of the application. The likelihood is that Thorpe will make tweaks and update reports to try and satisfy the authority's concerns.

Expedition Everest - Disclaimer, I love this ride, it's great fun. But, I always feel like it could jut be that little bit better. It leaves me feeling a bit lacking coaster wise. The theming makes up for it thankfully.
