Quietest you've ever seen a theme park?

For me it would have to be Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi. It was absolutely dead in there. Hardly anyone around. Everything was walk on which was brilliant for me as it's a stunning park! IMG was also very very quiet. My visit to Janfusun Fancyworld was also very quiet, there were less than 200...

    Rank the Mack Launch coasters

For me: Helix - Liseberg - Such a great fun ride. I'd prefer it with a couple less inversions but I really do like it and the soundtrack is epic. Icon - Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Really love this ride. It was close to topping Helix for me. Blue Fire - Europa Park - Great ride and only above...

    Rank the GCIs

For me: Renegade - Valleyfair! - I just found that this rode amazingly well. Excellent speed throughout. Wood Coaster - Knight Valley - Super long and just very unique. Loved it Thunderhead - Dollywood - Not much to say apart from it's sooo fun. Wodan - Europa Park - I love how big and...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area | 2021

I remember finding Sierra Sidewinder rather forgettable when I rode it in 2009. It faired better in 2015. I then rode Spiderman and the theming made it a much, MUCH better experience. Dwerverlwind I remember being a much more sprawling layout and the onboard audio added a nice extra touch but I...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area | 2021

From the looks of this tweet, it's going to be a family spinner. Could be a clone of Sierra Sidewinder.

    New rides @ small parks

Oh wow! That park has seriously expanded since I visited! The whole area just had the Mack water coaster there and that was all! That park is also in such a beautiful and stunning location that i'd love to make a return visit.

Mincing in the Middle East - Part 4: Sparky's VR Adventure

Great reviews of the parks. Enjoyed reading it, especially as i'm considering a visit at the end of the year. Quick question, what method of getting around would you recommend? Is hiring a car and driving recommended or should I just use taxi's and the metro etc?

Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Icon | Mack Multi-Launch

I rode a number of times yesterday and it definitely needs time to warm up. The morning rides vs the afternoon rides are so far apart in experience. I would say that this is not an intense/thrill coaster but what it has in bucketloads is just how much fun it is. It's not a world beater but it...

    disappointing Merch

I was disappointed at the lack of merchandise with the park logo on at Efteling. It was just shocking. Blackpool Pleasure Beach have seriously stepped up their merchandise game this year. My favourite merchandise from parks has to be a Shiriki Utundu bobblehead and Journey to the Center of...

Alton Towers | Wicker Man | GCI Wood

I managed to ride Wicker Man today. It opened on-time and for ERT which was very unexpected. I like how the queueline snakes around the ride giving great views across it. Plus the bonus of none of Alton's recent addiction to super high fences surrounding everything. The preshow is nice as it...

    Favorite Park Song/Music

I don't know what it was but it was very atmospheric and played in the station area only from what I can recall. Quite a dark foreboding score.

    Favourite pre lift hill moments

Not much theming I must admit but the weirdness before the lift on Twisted Colossus. Super odd but strangely fun.
