Timber Wolf concluded its multi year renovation and reprofile from GCI this past off season. The entire coaster minus the final turn, transfer area and station track have all been redone. The coaster is now the smoothest it has been in years
It would only be the second. Timber Wolf is a Dinn-Summers with a reprofile done by GCI
Yes I did tell you that, didn’t I? But this is not the one I was talking about.
Update: Now I’m convinced the GG wooden coaster was a red herring.
We have received even more information that this is a GCI Titan Track ground up coaster. Apparently an even bigger “leak” on Compass (KC building permit portal) is coming that’ll have information that confirms this.
Also...
A fun new wrinkle to this project manifested this morning with Daniel Peak being named the Engineer for the project. Daniel works for Skyline Attractions which does most of structural work for GCI and that firm also (I believe) creates the Titan Track for GCI. So we might very well have our...
Possibly. All we got right now is “Orient Express 2.0” is what it is being described as. Lots of conflicting rumors on what exactly that means.
Yeah we thought the same thing when we first heard it, but we’ve heard it from three different sources now so it might actually have some legs to it...
Nothing is “confirmed” until the park breaks the news itself but this is the latest intel we have.
Apparently Cedar Fair has shifted focus from building up CGA to building up WOF. While Project 2.0 has been in the works for awhile, Project 50 sort of came out of nowhere. Originally the park...
Because I appear to have been drugged into this …
Project 50 / Dollhouse will be the wooden coaster with inversions that will be located on some of the plot formerly used by the Dinos Alive pathway. This will open in 2023
Project 2.0 is slated to open in 2024. It will be what is being...
As much money as they’re putting into it with this renovation repair, I don’t see it going anywhere in the near future. It should be running like new when completed.
No this is not the same on as the one in SFSTL. We’re pretty sure this one is from a closed Asian park and has been on that website for awhile. After going through that website it appears they regularly use “stock” photos of rides to advertise ones for sale
Unfortunately I’m unable to. Not playing the “I know something” game, there are literally only a handful of people who work on the ride and the park would make short work of finding out who talked. Some adjustments have been made the last two days and pretty confident it’ll be running better...
Wow. Sorry guys, I have been dropping the ball on posting updates here. (stupid real life getting in the way)
PHOTOS OF THEMATIC ELEMENTS IN STATION
PHOTOS OF CHANGES IN THE AREA AROUND THE NEW RIDE
I guess I forgot to post these photos. Here are photos from inside the maintenance bay/queue line

I’m still holding out judgement until I actually ride it. I think the cart turned out better than I expected. I just don’t know about the layout. Wish they wouldn’t have cut the thematic stuff from the first launch.
