After queuing 4 hours for Nemesis on its opening day this year, and queuing 3 hours for Ghost Train at Thorpe last year, I'm never doing an opening day again. I'd now rather wait a week where it'll peak at a quarter of that and lap it multiple times in a day and form a strong opinion, than be...
Speed of Sound at Walibi Holland has new audio, replacing 'Thrill Ride' with 'Burn It To The Ground' in order to fit the new Playground area better.
In the article is a link to listen to the new music, but an onride POV featuring the change is not up yet...
This is not in trip planning because I am not personally planning on visiting this year, but a friend of mine is interested and is trying to decide whether or not to go based on what rides would be there.
For those who keep track of the Munich Oktoberfest fair, is there a time or date where...

Obligatory "coasters are obviously perfectly safe" but we can't deny the times where we have that "OH ****" feeling during a particular moment of a ride where we genuinely question if we're going to come off in one piece. I've personally had two very standout experiences of this phenomenon.
My...
Am I the only one here thinking about how the ride opens in 9 days and half of it is still a construction site? Feels like they're cutting it very close here? I sincerely hope this isn't yet another Nemesis Reborn/Minifigure Speedway where the whole area opens halfway unfinished. It does look...
On second thought, what if it's an 'open cabin' thing for the London Eye? There's a similar thing on the Wiener Prater Reisenrad where you stand on a completely open platform with only a harness stopping you from going anywhere. Would be cool.
Eyefly sounds like it could be a flying theatre of some sort, to me it gives off 'London midway attraction' vibes like the Dungeons or Tussauds. Doesn't sound like it would be a Thorpe attraction as much as 'Skybound' does, but still very Merlin-y.
Nope! They did not, but I could always ask for compensation.
Glad you enjoyed it, but in hindsight it's a little unfortunate that I went into most rides on this trip with a "where will this rank?" mindset instead of, you know, enjoying them for what they are like I should - hopefully I change...
Huss Top Spin.
But in all seriousness that'll never fit "Skybound". I kinda don't hope it's a Tundra Twister as those look to have more bark than bite - they look like tamer Star Shapes to me and I'm not even sure how that's possible. I kinda hope it's a drop tower. Some sort of Intamin drop...
I'd be happy with any of the following:
Huss Top Spin
Huss Booster Revolution
Gerstlauer Polyp
Gerstlauer Sky Racer
KMG Move It 32
Classic Wave Swinger
I think I'd like to cautiously try out the Zamperla Blendez too.
