Station size is one limitation, perhaps a park cannot fit a long train.
The layout has to work with the train length, if a coaster has a long train but very tight hills and/or elements close together, the front of the train may already be finished with element 1 and into element 2 before the...
The recent ElToroRyan video released speculates that the coding 'HP' used for the project could stand for 'High Point' and suggests CP will push to take the world record from KK. I was a little sceptical about Zamperla's involvement when he first announced it, but that seems to have come true...
I imagine they may just upgrade the specification on the weld, increase the radius by 20% or something, seen as that was the failure point. The rest of the support remains the same and Carowinds will improve their inspection routine to include checking the underside of support connections...
Are those corkscrews or tight airtime hills? Layout looks to lean to a Family Coaster, perhaps an intamin straddle launch? Intamin have hinted that they have more coming
The flagship park in Elstal (near Berlin) will be opening it's new SBF Visa Monorail coaster 'Wolken-Express' (Cloud Express) in the weather-themed area 'Wetterwelt' on July 8th.

Not to completely divert from the topic of this thread, but do we think the main factor in Gerstlauer roughness is the uncoventional support/footer design? Casting the base of the support to the concrete too early and not allowing adjustment in the track pieces? Or is it a fabrication problem...
I recently rode Stunt Fall at Parque Warner Madrid and was genuinely scared for my life. The restraint lock just felt spongy, I felt it slowly moving away from me as my whole bodyweight was against it on the reverse pull up the first spike. The additional seat belt feels old and brittle. Doesn't...
I was at at the park at the end of April and saw it testing, the airtime hill following the top hat looks brilliant, the I must say the rest of the layout also looks pretty quick irl, the profiling on the overbank diveloop is also really wippy. The severity of the tophat trim seems to be...
I visited Leipzig on Easter Sunday (09.04) which included Belantis followed by a Fairground cred:
#90 Huracan (Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter): On paper it sounds interesting but overall it was a fairly forgettable coaster. The 97° first drop is fun and popped me out of the seat a little, the 'zero-g...
Does anyone have any schematics/material/info etc on how the quick switch track system works? I thought it was a hydraulic system with pistons, but could it be a hydraulic motor and chain, or electric motor + chain? Would love to understand more
This honestly looks pretty fun and fast, the airtime on the hill looks like it'll be decent. The squeeling noise is a little concerning, is it rubbing? Hopefully this'll reduce after more testing
