Six Flags New England gets approval for a 400 ft. tall tower

Re: Six Flags New England gets approval for a 400 ft. tall t Wow I'm so pumped if this happens. SFNE is just a half hour from my house and I go multiple times every summer. I enjoyed SkyScreamer at SFGAdv. I mean, this news was bound to happen......every SF park is gonna get one of these...

Which coaster(s) do you ride first?

Whichever have the longest lines I get right when the park opens so I don't have to wait for them. Those are usaully the most popular ride or sometimes the one with the worst capacity.

Rides you rode in the opening season?

This year: Skyrush Apocalypse Stinger Goliath Verbolten

    Anyone think I305 > M Force?

Skyrush was just too bumpy and jerky for me and the restraints hurt my legs. I felt they ruined any potential airtime and the ride was really rough. I experienced good airtime on the first drop only for the airtight restraint to press down on my legs and somewhat ruin it. For Intamin, I expected...

What's the Best B&M Floorless Coaster

Been on Bizarro, Batman, Hydra, and Dommy, and I rank them in this order: 1. Bizarro 2. Dommy 3. Hydra 4. Batman

    Anyone think I305 > M Force?

I think Millennium is better, but only by a little bit. I mean, its my #1 and Timmy is my #3. I think that Timmy is a little more intense, but Millennium is longer and has more airtime hills. Millennium's intensity is underrated in my opinion. Timmy is more intense, but Millennium is not far...

Rides that show potential to be insane but fall short?

I didn't like the SkyRush restraints and am glad they will be changed. The ride was too bumpy and jerky for me and did not live up to the hype. If it had been smoother it would definitely be top 5 material.

Six Flags New England |"Goliath"| Vekoma Giant Inverted Boom

Re: Six Flags New England |"Goliath"| Vekoma Giant Inverted ^ they still have to constuct the station and pathway around the ride, but it should be open before June, I'm hoping early May. I doubt it will be ready for opening day April 14, though.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg |"Verbolten"| Multi-Launch Zierer

Re: Busch Gardens Williamsburg |"Verbolten"| Multi-Launch Zi ^ that video was awesome. It gave the theming/story behind the coaster more in depth. They also said they were right on schedule because now that they have installed all the track, they have to work on all the theming. Can't wait!

SFGAdv to get star flyer & some other stuff for 2012

The scrambler, bumper cars, and elephant ride don't do much for me. But I'm looking forward to SkyScreamer!

    Hersheypark |"Skyrush"| Intamin Mega

^ I agree with Furie. Comet Hallow has Comet, Skyrush, and Superdooperlooper. Not much theming, just pretty generic rides. I don't see how a ride called Skyrush would have a railway station theming, though.
  16. bizarrofan10

Do you use the front ride que lines?

It really depends on the coaster. Some the back seat is better, others it really doesn't matter.

    Cedar Fair Fast Lane Pass

^ yeah Snoo's right. My longest wait at cedar point was 25 minutes (Millennium Force). With a good route, you can avoid lines most of the time. It just depends on when in the season you go and if you have early entry.

10 Oldest Coasters. How many have you ridden?

None :P If the Coney Island Cyclone was on here then I could say 1 by the end of the summer, but sadly, none.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg |"Verbolten"| Multi-Launch Zierer

Re: Busch Gardens Williamsburg |"Verbolten"| Multi-Launch Zi Has anyone done a vertical drop in a coaster before? And how big is it? Like 30 ft?

    Hersheypark |"Skyrush"| Intamin Mega

This is also like the Windseeker restraint and I agree about the Shoot the Rapids restraint, which I felt was fine. I think it'll work out nice.
