Was at GA Monday for the first time since JD opened to the general public. It was only running three trains and, to me, that really slowed down ops. What should have been a 5 minute or so line was actually 15 minutes. Granted, the load station was stopping more often than it should have due to...
Got to Great Adventure around 10:30 this morning for the member preview. Running 4 trains and operations were very smooth. There were only a few times the ride was paused. I can't even say it went down because it was up and running again within a few minutes. I lost count of how many rides I got...
Does anyone know how they handle people with bags and drink bottles? With a moving platform is there enough time to jump through the train and place them on the other side of the platform before you have to be in the seat and checked by ride ops? I can imagine that being a headache.
I love the roar of older B&M's and I have to agree that Raptor is one of the loudest coasters I've ever heard. Honorable mention goes to the lift hill on SV, as other have stated. I've never found the launch of Superman at SFMM to be extremely loud but maybe I haven't been paying that much...
I mean, I hope it's ready but I'm going to be shocked if it's ready any time near when the park opens. I'm sure they will be still restricting capacity so there may not be the incentive as if it were a "regular" year. I'd love to see it open in April but I won't hold me breath.
Not a chance. This is Six Flags we are talking about. Great Adventure didn't open Wonder Woman until July the year it opened. I'm guessing the beginning of summer and this should be ready to go.
I just said to my boyfriend last night that I need to get to Tokyo Disneyland to ride this and Disneyland Hong Kong to ride Mystic Manor. It looks incredible. I really hope they bring this to WDW at some point.
Well, hopefully my 40th bday trip can happen at some point next year since I will be adding this park to the 4 I was already planning on visiting. This thing looks like it will be great!
Would you feel the trim of a magnetic break like you do from a friction break? I would have to assume a magnetic break trim wouldn't be as noticeable as a friction break. I know Nitro has a trim after the second and third hills. If they've been on I haven't felt them but I could definitely feel...
Then hopefully they won't turn them on. I'll be honest, I haven't been following the construction updates as closely as I could have so I didn't know if they were already installed. My bad.
