I truly don't want that Tower coaster. In a park like Great Adventure, where ops can be bad depending on the ride, they need something with good capacity. Flash is going to be a capacity nightmare, just like Joker and Jersey Devil (unless it's running all 4 trains which I haven't seen since...
Even with the merger, could it be possible a reimagining done by Intamin could have been in the works/contracted before the merger? I'm sure if it was there would be some hefty fees if the new Six Flags company terminated the contract depending on how far into the reimagining they were. Maybe...
Whatever is happening to this ride has yet to be seen. Just in case, I got 8 more rides on Friday and they were some of the best yet. I only ride in the first 4 rows but this coaster has been giving some of the best rides I've had in years over the past few seasons.
After the sudden closing of...
I still have all my legacy Diamond Elite VIP membership benefits and as far as I know that will continue in 2025. I added the All Park Passport to my membership and haven't been notified anything is changing with it.
When I was there on Nov 1 the whole parking lot in front of Superman/Green Lantern/Ka was closed off. My first thought was either it's getting repaved or the rumors are true and whatever will be replacing those coasters may take up a portion of that lot.
Got three rides on Ka in row 3 and they...
I am not renewing my pass at Dorney and I added the All Park passport to my legacy Diamond Elite VIP membership at Six Flags. I will keep that membership for as long as possible since the benefits are INCREDIBLE. I pay about $26 a month for it and it was $99 (plus taxes/fees) to add the All Park...
What's even more interesting is that specific legacy chain add-on's aren't being honored at the other legacy chain (ie... the 2025 meal plan at Six Flags won't be honored at legacy Cedar Fair parks and vice versa).
That makes it interesting for people who have passes to both chains and would...
I truly enjoyed the Les Mis reference. Thank you for that. I do agree it's a desensitization issue when it comes to paying for lockers. If you are *requiring* items to be left in a locker and/or have no bins available in the station then they should be free. Otherwise I understand charging for...
I guess I'm in the minority here and maybe I've come to expect this but I don't mind paying for a locker, especially when I can move it from ride to ride. It's actually quite freeing not worrying about my phone, keys, etc... I guess I'm just more willing to pay for the convenience than anything...
As long as the rattle isn't as bad as it is on Ka then I'll be happy. I always assumed the reason TTD was a smoother ride was due to the restraints (lap bar vs. over the shoulder). The mechanics for the restraint below the seat vs. at your head has to play a roll since the weight distribution at...
The vibrations aren't too bad at all near the first (within the first 4 rows). I actually found my rides in 2023 to be pretty enjoyable as long as I could prevent the restraint from tightening too much. From what I've heard the back of the train is unbearable.
I got extremely lucky during my two day visit in April 2018 and got 4 rides on LRod. That launch was a ton of fun but if it will be open on a regular basis then I'm all for this change. I was so stressed before my visit about the coaster being down for my visit and while it was closed most of...
Coast Rider at Knott's felt like the cars were going to fly off the track on every turn. The first time I was genuinely scared for my safety on a coaster.
Coaster Studios did an interview with someone at Dorney when this was announced and he said there will be a house that tie's in with the coaster, so good call everyone who thought of this!
