Hot ice is the in park ice show at pleasure beach.
It gets a bit of a bad press amongst enthusiasts as being Amanda’s number 1 priority and interest even tho at the best of times it’s 10% a full up charge attraction.
It’s not a bad show by any means, but it’s of course not something most...
Just got back from the park. Terrible. Rushed down after work. Got there an hour before park close.
Barriers closed off the queue and around 150 guests queued outside presuming they’ll be re opened….
50 minutes later word gets out no one else will be allowed into the queue line to ride...
I’m at pass holder a BPB and live a 5 minute drive from the park. I wish they hadn’t bothered with this technical rehearsal rubbish. How long will technical rehearsals go on? How many days won’t it open at all? How many people will leave disappointed because the ride opened for an hour and 80%...
Hey, great read.
I’ve never done Efteling as of yet but have done Toverland. It’s a great park but I didn’t get any desire to rush back there. I feel their target is the same kind of audience Chessington target in the U.K but with a couple of bigger coasters. I loved Fenix there but prefer...
Hey, yeah I’ve visited all the 3 parks you’ve listed there and would say I prefer it to all 3 . the theming is definitely the best of all 3 to me. Of course, phantasialand is amazing in regards to theming but I’d say the standard is of the same level but maintained accross a park 3 times the...
I went for the first time opening weekend last year so it sounds like I was in the exact same situation your in now.
I’ve done around 140 coasters which isn’t as many as a lot of people I know, but, europa park has 3 slots in my top 10.
Silver Star I prefer to Shambhala the airtime seems...
I went last May hoping it would be open then. Looking in the area looked almost complete I must say.
I’d much rather them stop the new additions including the tilt coaster and focus on finishing off sweet Valley and Aqualantis this season. Then go back to the front of the park and remove...
I think it depends on what each individual is expecting. Like I said it’s great for the U.K. probably in the top 3 dark rides here. I just find it somewhat annoying that we can’t seem to produce a dark ride at any park to compete on the European stage to compete with those at Efteling, Europa...
It’s better than duel. It’s maybe in the top 3 dark rides un the U.K. However, it’s no where near a dark ride to compete on the European stage.
Let’s use this scale to rate it.
1) a poor travelling fun fair ghost train
10) Ghost Castle at Europa Park (maybe one of the best ghost themed...
With Towers carrying this on for a third year now by adding another low capacity un-themed fun fair ride for this season and significant investments opening next year and 2024, how long do you think we will see temporary flat rides at the park?
I personally think the general public aren’t...
Call me daft, but I’m guessing this means on most double launch coasters including this one a second launch can act as a block as said launch can also be used as a break run to stop the train?
1) Hyperion
2) Taron
3) Shambhala
4) Silverstar
5) Zadra
6) Red Force
7) FLY
8) Blue Fire
9) Swarm
10) Woodan
Controversial Blue Fire which I prefer to Icon and Swarm I prefer to Phoenix and depending on the day of the week I may swap Silver Star and Shambhala.
I think Hyperion is my record at around 15. Didn’t count. But roughly 15.
The place was that quiet I was sat on the front row waiting for riders for 5-6 minutes before staff would eventually send the train half empty.
