RCDB have got it wrong there. Having seen it test in the flesh, this is definitely a family coaster.
I do agree with your B&M comments. They're playing it too safe in a world where RMC now exist.
Yeah that's fair, I've defended it over the years but my most recent ride just over a year ago was really awful.
Appears it is still well loved though going by the opinions on here.
Why should we keep them if they're crap though? Stampida rides like it has square wheels.
This is probably a bit over dramatic but when a ride is *that* rough, I think it can damage a parks reputation and put people off returning. Merlin apparently avoided a woodie for years because market...
Yeah I get that, can see from that first airtime hill it would be going way too fast over that without the trim.
I'd just prefer airtime there. The top hat is apparnetly a highlight of Velocicoaster so it seems strange not to stick with that formula.
I'm not usually one to cry about trim brakes but that little bugger on the Top Hat looks to be a real buzz kill.
Looks like theyre trying something different and almost trying to replicate the holding brake of a Dive Machine as opposed to airtime.
Not done Velocicoaster yet but that top hat...
I've got quite an unusual fascination with Log Flumes, and it's probably because of childhood memories of Loggers Leap.
There aren't any decent ones left over here so it's always a highlight of any abroad trip. Has to be the proper old school style though, none of this Chiapas squeezed in lap...
I quite like Intimidator. Initimdator 236 even more so.
It's hardly an immersive, elite theme park these days. Why not embrace the amusement park vibe?
Unless of course Exodus is going to be Bob Marley themed, in which case please do keep the project name.
I'm hopelessly addicted to Twitter. Its great for football and music stuff but 99% of my feed is unavoidable doom scrolling material. Used to be a laugh but now its constant negativity. Should really delete it.
I'm on Instagram as an enthusiast but never use it.
Haven't used Facebook in about...
Nice to have 100% Mack confirmation. They pushed the boundaries with RTH so hopefully we can expect a similarly intense coaster here.
The UK equivalent of Skyrush perhaps.
Still sucks seeing Loggers being flattened though 😭
Helix with it's zig zaging concrete jungle is a pain.
Nemesis is a trek back up a hill and then down through the queue.
Wicker Man is a pretty long walk followed by the pre show.
Steel Vengeance with the locker faff.
Best for me is Skyrush which ticks all the boxes. A short stroll up the...
Merlin's Bear Grylls Adventure has a base camp theme and looks really good tbf. We know Merlin like to cut and paste certain things so maybe they will go for a similar vibe.
Or of course a full on IP:
Bear Grylls: The Ride
£5 for a bottle of piss in the gift shop.
1. Steel Vengeance
2. Skyrush
I simply refuse to believe Steel Vengeance will ever be topped. Purely because of its length. It goes on forever and there are no dead spots.
I find the smaller RMC's are usually a bit more intense/aggressive. Steel Vengeance is absolutely huge but still tries to...
Bit late to the discussion but yes I'd be up for vest restraints too.
Really like them on Banshee. They're a lot more spacious around the neck and shoulders.
Agree the site is fine for public transport. 20 minutes on a train from the capital city is not unreasonable.
It is however a horrific location for driving. The Dartford crossing already struggles with traffic as it is.
End of year rankings now that the dust has settled. New this year in bold...
