Surely that's why you'd just get an uber or drive to the nearest well connected station? (I don't think the resort is going to happen but I'm exercising basic logic here 😂 ).
The helix is pretty much finished, and it towers over the car park. Both flat rides and more area theming are also being installed. Full update at Theme Park Guide.
Also an update from UK Theme Parks
The inclusion of the jaguar shrine automatically connects the area to the first Dwayne Johnson film. Given that it has such a high build quality compared to Croc Drop and the original Dragon Falls rockwork, I can see the IP lasting for a while longer than people are expecting. It may well be a...
Extremely odd choice of theme and name for a wing coaster. I was expecting the coaster to be themed to the mission Dwayne Johnson goes on in the first film, with the riders flying to return the jaguar gem to the jaguar shrine. Then we call out Jumanji's name and traverse the same layout...
And there was me hoping that the first Uncharted themed ride would go to a Merlin park. 😂 My only concern about this would be the sightlines of an Uncharted themed ride from the Western themed area, given the sheer size of the showbuilding.
They're hardly constant removals, if Nash even does go. Personally, after seeing PB's Tweet earlier today, I highly doubt that it's going anywhere at all.
Phantasialand, 100%. And I have to agree with Josh about Parc Asterix too, and perhaps their parent company as a whole now, especially their recent efforts at Walibi Belgium.
If anything that would distract from the sightlines of the canon. Maybe they can have some physical track pieces sticking out of the station building instead of the fiberglass of the track.
Gardaland is a park that tends to receive the best quality investments given that it's their most visited Resort Theme Park. Sony Pictures will want a high quality attraction that is entertaining and lasts for a good while. Jumanji is also the right IP for this kind of walk through experience.
According to AttractionSource, there's also an 'Action River' going alongside the Lazy River. I wouldn't read too much into what's proposed for the indoor part though, according to people who were present at the in person consultation, the main purpose of this is to serve as a pitch for the...
ChessingtonBuzz commented on social media that the consultation is mostly for the structure itself rather than for what it going inside it. We may well see some slides as part of the water park's offering.
I wouldn't imagine so. He was a bit rude and inappropriate, but it's not enough for Merlin to sack off an entire dark ride. If he said anything truly bigoted or was accused of something of something like sexual assault or racism, then yes imagine that Merlin would remove his name from the area.
They did a pretty good job on the A/V elements in TWD at Thorpe Park as well, given how small a project it was with a low budget. Great media, lighting and sound design throughout.
A very accurate Planet Coaster re-creation has been uploaded to YouTube by Theme Park Wirral, providing a good indication of what the sightlines of the ride will be like. As you can see in the video, it utterly dwarfs SAW The Ride! It's honestly going to look spectacular park's skyline, though...
