I'm very much in the camp that this ride will make it into some people's Top 20's. The elements like the outer banked airtime hill and the stall into the non-inverting immelmann are certainly unlike anything we've seen in the UK and I think they're going to knock our socks off. The elements and...
Since they assessed the sound of the Mack Hyper Coaster at Land of Legends I'm 99% confident that it's a Mack. The non-inverting Immelmann's profiling is very Mack as well. Though there is a slight chance it could be a Gerstlauer, just looking at how compact this coaster is. Gerstlauer are...
Yeah this place looks insane but I can't help but feel very skeptical of Falcon's Flight. Until I see track on site I doubt that ride will get off the drawing board.
I can't see this being a Gerstlauer. Their Infinity Coasters are known for having vertical lift hills and smaller trains (which would mean a throughput lower than their target of 1000pph). I suppose it could be a new model from Gerstlauer but I don't think this is likely.
The track in the above image is very Mack. I think its quite possible anyway as although Gerstlauer have similar track, their Infinity Coaster trains don't exactly have too many rows and the General Manager was quoted as saying that they are targeting a throughput of 1000pph.
Great to see that Merlin are stepping up the game with gigantic animatronics. Its a rarity for them to develop dark rides that aren't media attractions so I was expecting projected models and screens.
