Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
Fraid I can't, but flick through the pages of this topic and you'll be able to get a good idea of what the coaster will be like.
Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018
The version I have seen doesn't have white track, can't for the life of me remember the no of inversions. I was too hung up on the gorgeous airtime this thing is going to give.
So, whilst browsing through the Frightfest line-ups for the Six Flags parks I came across something kinda intriguing, which kinda lines up with all the speculation of The Boss being RMC'ed.
They've given all their rides creepy names for Frightfest and The Boss is just called End of the Boss...
Re: Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko|Lech Coaster|Vekoma triple inv
Oh boy, Vekoma have certainly come a long way. This genuinely looks like a rather fantastic coaster. Great layout, decent looking trains, looks like it could be a real quality ride! Really hope to see more of these popping up. Here's...
Easiest was definitely Hero at Flamingoland, my first Volare. Straight to the bottom of my rankings. Somehow even worse than those kiddie coasters I have shamlessly ridden.
Pretty much everything serious I find hard to rank. For example, Nash and Megafobia are fighting for first and...
Oh come on we all know it's going to be a B&M Stand Up with more inversions than the smiler
Jeez, imagine how... brutal that would be *shudders*
Oh my god, this! It's a fantastic coaster, and everyone seems to love it. I think you've hit the nail on the head saying they need to improve the flow-through towards the area with new rides. Sadly I doubt the island next to Swarm will be used for the next investment if the 'up for development'...
Oh boy, it's a little early to be discussing SW9 when we still don't entirely know much about SW8
I just don't think there's enough information to deduce where it will be going, or what make it will be. I guess the proposed Forbidden Valley site will still be open, but we all know the...
Yeah I totally agree with you, from what I have seen people love it! But apparently the ride failed to increase visitor figures as highly as expected, which considering it was opened around the 2012 olympics was a ridiculous idea anyway. Ultimately I think it did 'well' they just chose to invest...
Remember The Swarm wasn't seen as a success for Thorpe. I doubt they'd want to invest in another B&M for some time. I could seem them potentially trying wood if SW8 is a success, but I really can't see a Dive or a Hyper.
Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train (WC16) | Thorpe Park | May 2
The thing that kinda annoyed me a little with the use of the term Ghost Train is That's as far as the whole ghost thing goes. It just seems odd to me using them once in the pre-show then never using them again. There's a narrative...
So it's nearly halloween! Events are starting to announce their line-ups and a couple of have been posted on here already. Here's a post with pretty much all the major scare events with their currently announced line-ups. What are people's current plans for Halloween? I'm pretty much considering...
Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train (WC16) | Thorpe Park | May 2
We talking about the ? I really enjoyed that part, sure it wasn't scary, but I don't think the attraction was really meant to be outright terrifying. Linking back to the I get the impression the ride was meant to be more fun than...
Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train (WC16) | Thorpe Park | May 2
Rode the Ghost Train for the first time yesterday, and I must say I absolutely loved it. Sure it's not perfect, but I thought it was a cohesive, enjoyable experience, with some good jumps along the way. It's not all that scary, more...
Re: M&D's Tsunami has derailed
Genuinely shocked how something could happen like this in the UK. Seriously makes you question what the M&D's maintainance must be like if the entire train derailed. Hope nobodies been hurt, but dread to think how badly this could end. Oh and what's the betting...
Wow, that's a complete joke! It's a shame really, because Speed is a decent Eurofighter and Megafobia is just bloody amazing! You'd think with the work that Paultons have done to improve their park Oakwood would be able to do something similar. I just visited The Lost Kingdom for the first time...
