Weren't the back row seats the more...accommodating seats? If so I wonder what their plan is for that...
Surely it HAS to be an upcharge to approach anything close to being manageable?
Rewatched Moulin Rouge for the millionth time this evening because I’m in a weird chaotic/lovesick kind of mood that only Baz Luhrmann can see to and I’ve decided it’s a hatecrime that we don’t have a 1900s Montmartre themed land somewhere in the world.
Just waiting on the train back to London now after a weekend at Disneyland Paris and MY GOD. The merch has always been pretty dire but it’s currently at a new low - absolutely abysmal offering.
That said, I do enjoy the hunt to find actual good stuff but seriously! It’s either the literal same...
Ah, Aronofsky, Fincher & Nolan - the basic white boy unholy trio! 😂
Suspiria is really ****ing good though and obviously Silence of the Lambs is incredible so you are forgiven...
Yes, it's one of those 'oh god I got OLD' threads, but it's something I've been hyper aware of this season moreso than ever before...
What are some rides that you know you can no longer deal with, so purposely sit out of?
For me, general spin n spews tend to be it for me but there are a few...
Is there actually anything out there suggesting that these rides will be replaced? I just assumed they were clearing some bits out to pay off some debts or something?
I’m one episode away from finishing Midnight Mass on Netflix and think it's fantastic. Not as good as Haunting of Hill House but better than Bly Manor in my book. Mike Flanagan once again confirming himself as king of the jump scares.
In October I also finally watched Over the Garden Wall. I...
Some photos/videos!
Awesome name badges from Slayed - the nostalgia was real.
Vadge is queen of Tomb Blaster!
Old habits die hard. Nobody is safe.
A totally **** photo of the faffle (kicking myself for not donating THAT mug for everybody to boo at...)
Ian is a whore...
One of the...
I have a few stupid photos I took across the two days which I'll share when I get round to it but urgh, I am absolutely exhausted. First Live since I believe Thorpe opening 2019 for me, so 2.5 years which is crazy to think! Suffice to say the pandemic seems to have taken its toll on my...
^I thought I did but glanced and couldn't see it, clearly it bears repeating 😂
Also you didn't miss much with Doncaster Fear Factory. Given the way they've been with me I can't say I think much of them as an event, which is a real shame.
^Interesting to read reviews from this event as nobody seems to be praising it, even the hardcore Blackpool fans. It's a shame because conceptually it sounds great and something really different. I hope they keep at it for the following seasons to tweak it and improve rather than just scrapping...
Yh...go into Le Theatre Noir with low expectations and I think you'll have a good time? I went in expecting a scare maze and was understandably a bit miffed.
The updates to the corn maze thing are fantastic too.
^After getting back from a ten day tour of the UK I can confirm that weirdly petrol is cheapest down south. I have no idea why.
Fear Factory was weird, we saw an actor beat up a guest so that was nice.
^The Attic is on another level this year - absolutely vile. I had some up close and personal time with the demon which was horrific, it knew my name so just kept following me around taunting me. No idea who it was.
I've found Skin Snatchers has fallen foul to the SubSpecies effect - it's still...
I laughed out loud the first time I heard those lyrics.
New album is sweet, not as good as Silver Scream imo but I want to give it a few more listens as I find most of their tracks to be growers. Currently Rainy Day is still my fav.
