Rumor is an actual dark ride. With actual animitronics, very minimal on the screens. It was apparently intended to be trackless, but I'm pretty sure that didn't end up happening. It seems to be a toss up between a "traditional" dark ride vehicle or an omnimover type system.

I don't know if it was intended or not, but fact is FT couldn't run 3 trains if it wanted too. Track is just too darn short. When running two trains, the other is already back before the train in the station has even finished getting people in it. And I can confirm TC was never meant to run 4...

I live in LA. On a good day, SD is about 3 hours south, and SFMM is about 40 min north. So about a 4 hour separation... not sure where you get 5-6 hours on a good day. With traiffic, that could be true. Even with the distance between them, advertising will hit the entire SoCal market, so...

^^Well, there is Hangtime at Knott's. I'd consider that a dive coaster. So now there's technically 2 in SoCal. Which is yet another reason for SFMM to not get one. I am a bit unclear where in the park this'll be located, though.

^The article says it's floorless, so... If this is true, it would seem to put the nail in the coffin of SFMM ever getting a dive machine. Not that I really wanted one there anyway, but many seemed to think it was coming.
