Rode it around two weeks ago with both tilt and super tilt and it rotated just fine back then!

If anything, this just screams "temporary" to me.
No way PHL is going to keep this for years to come, they're probably just looking for a way to keep that corner of the park busy to thin out the crowds overall.
On one hand that is kind of a neat feature but on the other hand, it would be super annoying if you either have a preference to ride forward/backwards but other people keep screwing you over, or you're so unlucky that you only get to ride it one way...
Dunno, call it nostalgia for the park when I used to live in Germany? I remember the park normally taking care of theming as good as they can.
To me it feels like, "We care to get things right, but we aren't given the budget for it", if that makes sense? :)
The effect in the promo and from the sides looks good, but how convincing will that bit of extra track actually be when you ride?
I do have a bit more faith in Heidepark in making sure the effects work most of the time though.
