That's straight up wrong. It's Cedar Fair with Six Flag's name. Six Flag's HQ will cease. Cedar Fair's Sandusky location will stay, the new "Six Flags" HQ in Charlotte will be heavily CF-populated and the new company will still get traded with Cedar Fair's FUN symbol.

Epic costs a billion dollars per year to build, will likely total 5-6 billion dollars. Which makes PA for just 1 billion but fully functional with two gates and world records look cheap in comparison.

I welcome this change. The launch is problematic and doesn't have any marketing value any more so getting rid of it and replacing it with a more reliable but comparable speedy lift hill is a good thing in my book. I'm glad I got to experience the launch though in May 😂
