I clearly remember your love for that part of the Ride :p
This ride is definitely going to be an interesting experience. I just hope people don't end up over hyping themselves...
It says "a completely new type of coaster" but while it's assumed to mean a coaster type never seen, it's not clear that it couldn't just be a type of coaster never seen at a cedar fair park. Just something to think about.
Canada's Wonderland has been rumored to get another coaster in 2018 too.
Rode it on Easter. found it profoundly Fine. Not good, not terrible, just middle of the road. the elements were so stacked on top of each other none of them felt like they had time to breath. The Shed was miserable and as i was walking around the park all day i heard comment after comment...
Oh god not this discussion again. I was under the impression it was agreed that it was.
Either way I look forward to finally seeing the animation for the new ride when it's released probably next fall.
The one that springs to mind for me is Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom. Great layout forceful fun and all in a small compact footprint. I'm actually surprised there's not more of the Hyperlites around if they would be anything like Lightning Run.
So this is in CP's Holiday Video. In case their was anyone still doubting this should basically confirm that this is a 2018 project.
at 1:30 the screen says "
"Classified Document
2018 Capital Plan Enclosed
Prepared by Richard Michael Crosby"
Well the rumors for attractions are a Mario Kart themed (simulator?) and a Donkey Kong Themed Mine Car (Coaster?)

I'm really not surprised to see it at the american parks. Nintendo is a Worldwide Company I'd imagine they'd want their IP's at Everywhere possible to get as much exposure as possible.
