I think the main problem with dive coasters is when parks that can barely afford them invest heavily on one, basically neglecting the existance of another major ride for some years. If the park can afford one with no financial struggles (Cedar Point for example) or they already have a solid...
Great fit for the park. Now they'll have a great airtime coaster, a fun mixed coaster (Lost Gravity) and an awesome looping coaster with -hopefully- some airtime.
Let's not lie to ourselves. We all pretty much know the coaster -if there is one- will not be the main focus of 2020's expansion. My guess is an overall park enhancement, some flats, some kiddies, a midway facelift (please?), and a Raptor
