I'd say perhaps, but not on F.L.Y. The layout and elements have a lot to do with intensity (B&M flyers only stand out because of the pretzel loops) and this coaster is more graceful. I reckon we have to wait for other Vekoma Flying models to open to really judge their intensity.

I'm not quite feeling that shade of blue. Too pastel and doesn't match the color of the track. But I will keep from commenting further since it might not look that bad at all once in the tracks.

I find it really stunning how this coaster looks against the trees, especially in autumn. Perhaps the track style and the weird spacing doesn't look the best, but it's undeniable that they nailed it with this shade of brown.
(Serious) can someone explain to me why on Earth would B&M build such high and long brake runs? I know they must have capacity to hold at least a couple trains, but I can't seem to wrap my head around why does it need to be 50ft+ high. It just looks silly (and so do the other B&M gigas), IMO...
Bet this thing is tipped off by Sunday. Notice the worker climbing on the lift hill, really gives a sense of scale!

That right there truly is a thing of beauty. I'll gladly eat my criticism about the track style; Intamin always pulls it off with elegance.

I wouldn't say that for myself. I'm finding these last hotel towers and "entrance" updates (as well as the renderings) quite amusing.

I'm well aware of the cost, efficiency and smoothness pros the new track style provides. After all the regular steel truss design is almost twenty years old, and in this time roller coaster design has obviously progressed. I was just stating my personal preference LOL, call it nostalgia or...
If this goes through it absolutely will be remembered as THE turning point in American coaster history (for the worse, obviously). Let's just pray it doesn't come to fruition.

Slightly offtopic but, is it only me or does every modification they do to it make Intamin track look less like, you know, Intamin track? I feel since the double-spine modification the track style has only been going downhill, to the point where nowadays their track is almost unidentifiable...

I truly hope this doesn't spark a trend amongst parks to close down their classic arrow loopers. Indeed they are rough, and perhaps not the most enjoyable of rides, but they still are great pieces of roller coaster history.
The way I see it, both factors play a big role. They are very expensive, and require high maintenance, which could be understandable if they were the #1 choice for all publics, but I believe most GP have the same emotion when riding a B&M hyper or giga than a 4D, because they just don't care...
Hurakan Condor. The views, the height, the theming, the fact that some "gondolas" tilt forwards... It's just very compelling. Only complaint I have is it lacks an Express lane so if it's busy you have no choice but to wait.
Looks fabulous but honestly I can't even concentrate on the ride with the million cuts, letters, and epic music Six Flags butchers their announcements with. We just want a clean, continuous POV, God-damnnit!
