Day old photos, whatever shall we do? I haven't been on site myself but I have enough contacts to keep me up-to-date. Of course, there is no way i'd post any pictures that could jeopardise someones job. As for trains, who knows where they are.

All the track by the Steeple Chase is now complete, it was finished this morning. Just a few bits of launch track and the turn by Grand Prix to go in and we'll have ourselves a closed circuit.

Having two separate trains allows for a smaller number of rows on each one. The more rows you have, the more maintenance is required so shortening the trains makes a lot of sense.

I don’t think North Park will be much worse at coping than last year, it’s not like the Wild Mouse was a throughput monster. Icon’s station isn’t finished yet, I doubt it’ll even be black once it is complete. The soundtrack is wonderful, it’s great to hear some diversity from the usual...

ATI needs to get laid. Also, no netting as far as i'm aware but various fences and things to prevent people climbing the supports.

That is exactly how Icon is going to work. It has a pre-launch block, so as soon as the preceding train clears the Immelmann it will launch.

Where have Pleasure Beach announced a reduction in speed? It's something that was fabricated on another forum and for whatever reason has gained traction as though it is an actual fact!

In case anyone needed more proof that it will be called "Wicker Man", PicSolve's website leaked it earlier.

Nothing against PBE but the credit belongs to BDaily. Anyway, great pics. Here is one showing the high five. Credit to Blackpool Gazette:

ATI, wait until you see it in person. It is ridiculously steep and tight hence the premature rotation. It will provide a fantastic sensation, the fact it's fit into that gap along with launch track, brake run and a station building is an engineering marvel in its own right.

    They’re both the same speed.

The only other major change I can think of is the zero-g roll, originally it was very parabolic (think Swarm's) and rotated clockwise. Despite the initial proposal being faster, the final profile is the best. The original didn't have the smooth and silky flow the finished one has, which is to be...

No, Mack initially pitched a Twisted Immelmann which is a slightly different element. It would’ve been effective at the originally pitched faster launch speeds as it would have created strong airtime. Originally the train didn’t invert at all and was fully upright at the apex of the element. The...

The park haven’t said anything other than Spring. RCDB are just placing a safe bet as it’s likely it’ll actually open at the end of March with an ‘official opening’ in April.

That’s out of date now as the other major Immelmann support is now vertical, the entire element just needs topping off.
