I recommend buying (again) RCT1 since it comes with a tone of custom layouts.
RCT3 I recommend buying (again) because if you have the disk version, it can be tricky to patch it. RCT3 originally didn't have vandalism or security guards. The patch does.
RCT 4/world looks optimistic. I hope it's...

Pistons thump and steam rises. These are the sense of industry. Hold on tightly.
There was a dream. A vision of a futuristic paradise by a Victorian person. During the early days of the Industrial...
Re: Scw55's Thread. New Computer (with spoiler) 15/02/15
Clearly you inspired me on a subconscious level.
Evidently I did amazing work :)
I'm excited at the thought of revisiting my Cliff Park because I had to stop due to too many trees. They seem to be some of my best terrain coasters.
A guy...
Re: Scw55's Thread. New Computer (with spoiler) 15/02/15
I have a new computer.
It is sick.
I haven't had time to RCT3 yet since I've had IRL commitments and general having fun doing lots of stuff quickly and prettily.
I did take two screenshots though. One is of an old project and another is...
Perhaps the free update will be additional content?
In this current gaming climate, if they can ship a game that actually works and functions by itself at launch, that's a win.
It's the age of digital distribution. I don't see anything wrong with free updates post launch if the game actually...
They done a blogpost about coaster building in RCTW. Seems optimistic.

I hope they let people get their hands on custom content creation soonish after launch... and able to deliver all these great things...
Re: Scw55's Thread. Talky Update (with teaser) 27/12/14
I have been able to secure finance to acquire a new system. I do not know when I will have it.
I have done some work on RCT3 today. I have even concluded one coaster to be finished. However, I am waiting until I have a more powerful PC...
It looks great.
It does look a bit busy. But I make that comment hesitantly, because I think the coaster bleeds into the scenery very well. The track is part of the theming, and I love that (reminds me of Nemesis in that regard). Just, it also feels quite visually full-on. There's a lot to look...
Re: [DAI3] Hecatombe - Welcome to Craterville
You certainly make me hungry for my new PC. I want to make pretty stuff too. I've lost my enthusiasm with using my old laptop now. Everything looks dull.
Re: Scw55's Thread. Wadjet (I Aen't Dead) 29/10/14
Thanks for the words of encouragement.
I think I will need to be in certain company though. To distract me from the atmosphere and generally give me more courage.
Re: Scw55's Thread. Wadjet (I Aen't Dead) 29/10/14
I'm awaiting on my college learning grant which I would put towards a better computer.
Meaning:
Faster loading times. I will be more inclinded to use RCT3. I find long loading times put me off doing something.
Water. I will have the choice of...
Re: Scw55's Thread. Wadjet (I Aen't Dead) 29/10/14
My first experience of riding a ride was a small Swinging Pirateship ride. I was 7 years old and I sat in the back. I found the -G force painful.
Where I live, there aren't any local amusement parks. Even then, places like Alton Towers are...
