Not yet, I feel this is an important point that many people are missing. It's not been announced by the park at all so people jumping on the park already for how they've "announced" it are getting it wrong in the extreme.
Also, just because the park cannot justify/afford £200'000 to fix the...
I saw that posted on FB yesterday and thought it was just some stupid fake ITK bollocks but there seems to be a bit more traction behind it today.
Hugely interested to see what they replace it with if they choose to do so; could be a sign of how successful Wickerman and Icon have been based on...
Eh, I figured why not because if for anything I'll use it myself to read through when I can't sleep in a few years time (as I tend to do now and then in case any of you randomly get a "like" on a post from years ago).
So after fretting about trying to do a multi-park trip around Northern...
Somewhat glad to hear I'm not alone in experiencing a ****show of a back row ride.
We did, in between Red Force. I somehow feel that describing it as a Junior Red Force is somewhat of a cop-out; there's a distinct lack of middle ground between being ready to ride that and being ready to ride...
Perfect timing because I cba for a full trip report and it isn't going in my top 10.
Red Force
Won't lie, I was extremely nervous on the walk up to the park, and moreso when actually hearing the thing launch. I've never really been too keen on accelerators, and although this was a more gradual...
I mean, it is a bit of a ****hole though isn't it?
Agree with some of the posts above, it's something I covered in my dissertation too about the strength of IP's and strong branding in pulling guests in.
Also something we've covered on here loads is the UK market; I've been sceptical from the...
Can't really compare securing funding for a hotel that will have an income year-round with investing in a rollercoaster where the returns are one big question mark.
Yeah, I think you are; how would they be saving up money if for several years they were los
BPB won't have the finances for another big ride. I'm admittedly a bit rusty with how they were doing the past few seasons but unless there's been a massive lottery win, they'll be paying for Icon for the next couple of years at least and I can't see them taking on another heavy investment so soon.
Never really sat and thought about it and I'm not much of a film person anyway. If anything it's usually comedies so my list will be a bit unique, and in no particular order.
Zoolander
Dodgeball
Shaun of the Dead
Jackass
Borat
Happy Gilmore
Big Daddy
Eurotrip
Jingle All The Way
But far and...
Basically anything and everything by IMAScore.
Helix is my personal favourite, every single part of it fits the ride, the areas you hear it, and it's ****ing infectious.
Taron is stunning and is probably the most well-suited to the theme/area.
I also echo the love for Smiler; it's too loud...
Yeah basically what Gavin said.
Several years ago I'd probably check around on YouTube for POV's of the coasters and you'd get the odd promo-video from the park's official channel.
Now, it's just full of that weird guy and his 90 minutes at a time vlog that has spawned multiple copy-cats; I...
Mate, I don't need to bother mentioning that it's the third one because it's the only one worth watching (not true they're all great but if I had to choose it's the third one every time even now I'm ****ing humming the theme tune to Wonderworld) now you can all suffer with me
