Never heard them in person but TTD/KK on video sound outrageously loud.
I'm trying to think of when I've actually been aware of a coasters noise and it isn't half chucking up some nostalgia. Oblivion as it enters the hole, Joris as it flies through the station, Red Force at the end of the launch.
If I'm including Billing Aquadrome then they're struggling - I'd love a Balder just chucked in to the fairground though. Realistically, next on my list is Helix but that wouldn't work on a flat caravan park, so it would have to be Shambhala next up. Just imagine the stunning views over the dual...
Yeah agreed with Howie, the absolute priority needs to be padding Ferrari land out. It needs another coaster at least - doesn't have to be massive but a time-filler at least.
After that, I reckon the Wild West section is long overdue an overhaul, it looks dated (yes, I know that's the idea) and...
Fairly sure I win the game here and I preface this by saying I've ridden a single one.
But I really don't 'get' RMC's. Just make the entire ride out of steel, what purpose does the wooden base serve other than to add a USP to it?
Get your teeth stuck into that on a Saturday morning :)
Actually pad out the left hand side of the park by the lake with something because that entire area does feel like a bit of an afterthought compared to the rest of the park.
The Alton bit on Top Gear was really good - they actually acknowledged their own experiences of the park including the classic getting lost on the way around. The drone shots were absolutely incredible, some of the best footage I've seen of the park - although I didn't half feel a bit sick...
Taron and Helix are the two that come to mind, mainly because it's an absolute pain trying to re-ride them quickly by having to run back round.
Along that vain, I seem to recall either Wodan or Joris having similar length run-arounds.
Look lads can we just ban this idiot?
Like, I'm all for letting people join and free speech and all that, but when you're outright spouting lies as facts, do you really deserve to be allowed to continue posting? Especially given the subject matter. Dis-information is a serious issue and some...
Ah honestly I'm so glad it's not just me who even after all this time still has a proper fear of Oblivion (and to some extent hydraulic launches).
I literally have no idea what it is but something about the queue, the anticipation and the lift hill get me every single time.
I can't actually remember how many I've officially done and how many I've unofficially done, or which weren't actually lives (there's not a lot to choose from I'm just a bit tired).
I think my first official was Oakwood which was a laugh, particularly the death slides of doom and the water...
Was going to just post a link to FIRESTARTER but actually thinking about it, I quite like the Streak and think Big Dipper is unique enough to warrant keeping (even though it needs an awful lot of work).
Streak and the kiddy one - keep as they are.
Big Dipper - Retrack, sort out some of the...
Somewhat agree with what you've already said - the three absolute must-dos are Alton, Thorpe and Blackpool, and in reality you'd probably want a full day at each.
I absolutely would not go out of your way to Oakwood, it's a ballache to get to. You could probably tick off Legoland and...
