Yeah definitely. I might as well give up being an enthusiast if we had no RCDB or Coast2Coaster. I hope they know we rely on it. I'd even pay a monthly subscription if they needed some funding to keep it going and maintained.
Yeah go check that electronic mail of yours! I though you asked because I told you about it lol. Been a few days broken for me now. Luckily I have screenshots of my trip plans and parks so am just reusing the same image to plan which routes to take.
Maybe slightly off topic and yet slightly related. Still need to do my first trip report (oh the effort!), however I did add my coaster notes a couple of nights ago to my spreadsheet for some potential interesting stats. I did 118 coasters and 22 parks in my recent USA coaster road trip. Total...
14 rides on GhostRider 20 September 2019 (quite the difference compared to the 2+ hour waits on my recent visit)
14 rides on Twisted Timbers 5 April 2022
11 rides on Pantheon 7 April 2022
10 rides on DC Rivals and 8 on Superman Escape 10 June 2021
Pretty sure I did close to 15 on Mako in 2018...
Kingda Ka feels fast, but then again it is fast. As @Indy mentioned Jet Rescue feels fast but then the stats don't really seem to agree with that. Quite an underrated little coaster that.
Haha oh yes indeed. You raise a really good point! Next USA trip I'll definitely need to swing by Hershey again to get some more rides on those . Maybe even complete the creds with Jolly Rancher Remix and Trailblazer if they're open.
Photos or it didn't happen! Kidding of course. Sounds like a great trip. Shame about Formula Rossa and Bombay Express. Two reasons to go back for another visit in the future though.
I was at Carowinds a few days before I met you guys at BGW. When I walked to the park from my hotel and saw Fury testing before opening, it blew me away at just how much it was hauling through the layout. It was my first time seeing a B&M Giga in action. (Have not been to Canada's Wonderland and...
Reading a few trip reports as i've been called out as a lurker here twice now for good reason. (I'll see if I can change that into participating a bit more in the comments!). I'd like to add my appreciation for Mako. I first rode it in 2017/2018 and worried it wouldn't live up to my great...
Epic Florida trip David. Wish I could have spent more time there. Was great to meet you and wait in those queues together! Finally made it back to NZ yesterday after an amazing USA coaster trip. I'm still chuckling at David's random friends off the internet comments.
Was good bumping into you guys! I'm going to have to do a trip report myself now. I've been inspired, however I definitely don't have the patience to do it properly like you did! I also agree on most points you've made here. Pantheon is definitely a solid ride. Managed to get 17 rides in total...
And yes You'll get to meet Sean eventually. He's a really good guy. He was so humble when i met him for the first time at Kings Island. I would have gone to Holliwood Nights with him and Jeff JJmailman if it wasnt for covid in 2020. Still have my ticket Holiday World posted to me all the way to...
Also I fully understand that covid risk. I have the exact same hesitation here in NZ going out here and i'm a month out from leaving! NZ is finally getting the omicron wave. The government admitted defeat.
I've booked 9 april and 10 april, so sat and sun night here "Knights Inn Palmyra". Google that on booking.com. My criteria were under $80US per night and needed to be 7+ rating, and semi close to park . It's $150US for both nights with two beds. It costs the same for me so don't worry about...
Solo trip yes. I'm meeting up with my buddy from Texas for my San Antonio part, and also another one for Carowinds and maybe Dollywood with me. Nothing lined up for my Florida parks yet. Sean is out as he's going to be too busy with work this year and doing a Europe trip june/july
Sorry I forgot about these chats. I thought i'd get an email if i missed a message, but apparently not! So FYI my plane tickets are booked. Car rental booked too. All hotels booked, but with free cancellation so can be moved potentially. So at this moment, HersheyPark 9 and 10 April (SAT/SUN) is on.
