^ Well yes I agree there. I'd much rather the Vekomas be built in those two parks than the Raptors, which are going to be great little rides, but also really piss people off lol.
I'll give you Mack. But Vekoma isn't doing anything other companies like Intamin haven't been doing since 2000. They don't get extra points from me for finally getting a few coasters right. And they have yet to make a dent in the US.
The fact that CF was basically forced to jump on the RMC...
Okay, sio maybe it's not excellent by today's standards, but it's still a good ride that I'm glad the park is preserving. I think Knott's should be commended for keeping this ride the way the Knotts family intended it, instead of trying (and probably failing) to modernize it.
I still think...
I've been on it three times today so far. Wow, what a great ride! The pacing, inversions and airtime are all on point. Highlights for me are the stall (the best of the ones I've experienced) and the very snappy pull out after the outward banked hill. Once again RMC delivers.
Well I know RMCs sometimes test with different wheels until they get the right ride. Still, there is no denying that is an impressive first run.
Love the cheering at the end too.
For a first test run this thing is flying. So far this doesn't look quite as wild as Wicked Cyclone or Medusa, but I'll have to see a wider angle off ride to know for sure. That under flip thing looks amazing.
Re: What's next for RMC? New Concept Coaster (page 4)
I'm looking forward to RMC's take on a Maverick style coaster, which will likely be the cheaper product for a park that held off due to cost.

Re: What's next for RMC? New Concept Coaster (page 4)
Yeah, except some of the most quality coasters built in the last 5 years in the US have been RMC/SF conversions so...
And as mentioned above, SF has the longer history with RMC AND is still willing to build firsts of it's kind rides.
They...
The problem is, most parks either already have a couple of wooden coasters, or they're trying to get rid of them, not add them.
Parks now a days are trying to add uniqueness to draw guests. And if we're talking wooden record breakers, Gravity Group and RMC can build bigger for cheaper, and in...
As the body ages, it gets more sensitive to coasters in general, made worse by the foods you eat and drink before riding. Avoid anything acidic like orange juice or coffee before riding. I've learned the hard way. lol
