It's not that bad, kinda what you'd expect the houses in a hidden village of wicker worshiping people to look like? :p
As long as it's themed well inside ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe because they wanted fire to shoot out of it's mouth so to safely do that it'd have to be pointed upwards, then why not make something of the side that'd have to face the other way :p
This pic from the page before really makes it look like theres at least 80ft+ from the track at the bottom of the site to the top of the lift, especially looking at the size of the builders infront of the part where it changes gradient.
Not seen it in person though so...
That's awful
:(
and it's the kind of thing you tell any friends that worry about ride safety would never happen, surely this is down to the owners of the ride not giving it the maintenance it needs?!?
Yeah, in the youtube video the drone went right above the track, you literally got a birdseye view of the whole layout and he also went pretty much right next to the track and got some great angles.
Guess it got deleted as the comments said it would because you're not allowed to fly a drone...
I couldn't imagine there's any other reason they'd be doing this except to beat that record though? Also isn't full throttle 49m? Dodonpa's hill is 52 and goes over that with some speed so surely this will be the tallest (basing these stats from wiki pages so sorry if i've got the facts wrong :p )
Doesn't look like it from that angle but a quick google shows the old hill was 52m tall? so unless there's a loop taller than that i would assume so...
Is it just the perspective or does the lift hill look like it could be the same height as the 2nd hill? Could we see a launch?
Either way, the outward banked hill looks tiny considering it's the closest in the photo so that should be crazy..
