    Hershey Park | Wildcat's Revenge | RMC Wildcat | 2023

Looks like Hershey's back in the plans for 2024, looks good, lots of things I like in there.

Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss; who do you want to be Britain’s next prime minister?

Turkeys don't vote for Christmas mate. This rag tag government are an absolute shambles, the majority of the MPs are self serving and will attempt to limp on without actually doing anything to help the electorate, just so they have a job for the next 2 years. They've tanked the economy, cut...

    CoasterForce's Favourite Roller Coasters - 2021 Edition

This is interesting, maybe as it's running faster the train is having less time to shuffle as it's hitting the next part of the track earlier. Would indicate it's a train issue rather than the track. Just cements Zadra as the better of the two ;) Next time I head back to the park I'll...

Witchfinder finally gets to the Point – US Trip, Sep/Oct 2022

That pizza looks awful, was it even cooked? I've had pizza from both Giordano's and Pequod's and both were amazing, I personally preferred Pequod's but not a huge difference between the two. It was great to follow on with you as all this occurred but I love a TR to remind and give a bit more...

    CoasterForce's Favourite Roller Coasters - 2021 Edition

Massive shame as the layout is great. I guess it's now happening on both trains, I wonder if it's the trains which need an overhaul or if the track is at fault.

Nostalgia within theme parks; what are your thoughts on it?

Lots of good opinions in here. Personally I love a bit of nostalgia, but I also like good rides. I wouldn't want to see the Black Hole or Corkscrew return for example, but I would like to see the theme of Bubbleworks return with an improved ride system, or the original HH with updated effects...

Taron vs FLY; which Phantasialand launch coaster do you prefer?

Taron night rides are incredible, as are Helix night rides. If you base either coaster on a daytime ride you won't rate it. FLY works in both, I didn't see a massive difference in the evening, but it's in no way close to Taron as a ride imo.

The Smiler vs Saw The Ride; which Merlin Gerstlauer do you prefer?

Opening year they definitely didn't bite though, got some great airtime off them at first, then it went through a period of really feeling them engage, maybe when we were seeing all the stalls happen. Still felt a bit bitey on my last ride, definitely not as good as when it first opened that's...

The Smiler vs Saw The Ride; which Merlin Gerstlauer do you prefer?

Saw for me, but it's not exactly an easy call, I find both to be almost unrideable. Saw's headbanging vs the rattle and god awful final inversions of the world record holder, pick your poison. Saw gets the edge because of the cool indoor section, Smilers is ****e in comparison, as well as the...

Thorpe Park | Hyperia | Mack Hyper Coaster | 2024

My issue with this is it's drop + 5 elements then brakes. Using Matt's examples; Nemesis - 8 elements Skyrush - 6/7 elements Zadra - 10 elements Iron Gwazi - 11 elements How about other recent installs in Europe; RTH - 12 elements Monster - 9 elements Fonix - 13 elements Kondaa - 16 elements...

    Monster-Raving Goony Party: Liseberg.

Thanks for writing this up Andy. Brought back wonderful memories. Pontus was an absolute star, the knowledge that man has is unbelievable, being able to set foot in the control booths and watch the teams at work was amazing as was seeing a few totally off limit documents in the maintenance...

    Monster-Raving Goony Party: Liseberg.

I didn't make a sound because I was awake until around 3am as well, tried everything to drown out the noise, I had to put on my over head headphones and listen to Pink! to actually get any sleep. Honestly, worst night's sleep I've ever had. Still love the Mush though, no idea how Sue slept...

Snake was absolutely ghastly and put me off riding anything similar in the future, never again.

Worlds of Fun | Zambezi Zinger | GCI (partial) Titan Track | 2023

I really liked WoF when i visited, yeah it has some crap but it also have enough quality rides to make it a cracking day out. Wouldn't be adverse to visiting again in a few years (It's a long way from the UK) if they put a couple of decent new creds in. Plus I can't say no to KC BBQ.

    Milestones in Your Counts

Nemesis Wickerman Galactica He really liked Wickerman though, I think he's just paying me lip service with saying Nemesis first, we'll see in a couple of weeks and I'll grill him a bit more.

    Milestones in Your Counts

Not me, but my son Jesse, been planning this for a long time. Had the best day just me and him riding all the big boys for the first time. Loved his reactions after each coaster, very rare you get to see first timers on these.

Grona Lund to Expand for 2024?

45 meters is quite small considering what they already have in the park, and it's not like they have local residents to contend with. Anyhow, we discussed whilst there that Grona needs an Intamin launch buried underground which launches under the road and pops out of a building within the main...

Planes, Trains and Awesome Meatballs – Sweden, June 2022

Re-rode Helix on Monday and I was totally in agreement with the above until the last 3 rides when it was nearly dark. It still does the business and beats all the other Mack's I've ridden by a fair margin.
