During the first inversion I let out a very audible; Do not like the look of that one bit, too hangy for me. But it was the first POV, I'm sure it will run faster than that in the warm. The rest of the layout looks bloody brilliant though, I'm on board.

It's comparable in the fact that I would much rather go back to Paultons to ride their thrill rides than Flamingoland ;) Target audience may be different but the coaster ambition of Paultons is clearly higher than FL.

Sad times, I thought this was a cool quirky attraction that said a lot about the park. But it's super old and takes up a surprising amount of space. Shame it couldn't be moved and updated with some new effects.

Sorry @Matt N but the coaster selection at Flamingo is absolute garbage. All of their models are poor, either from a thrill perspective or a roughness/pain perspective. The only caveat to that is the SLC is slightly better than the version at Blackpool, which isn't saying much. Yes it's better...

I also quite liked Walibi Holland, but I did go for the Halloween event as a live which clearly elevated it. Great day, so many highlights. Carowinds has historically had a bit of a bad rap too, but my day there was nearly as perfect as you can get. Nighthawk and Vortex are absolutely awful...

I'm hoping I have a similar experience when I go next and it becomes one of my faves, as the first time was good but not great, and simply ended up being remembered for children catching coins from a donkey's anus.
