I Find Portaventura an absolutely gorgeous park. The entrance is surreal, entering through the 'streets' and then walking out in an open area with the lake infront of you and baco to the right blending in sublimely (no matter how rough, it aesthetically pleases ;) ).
Alton Towers has gone...
Re: New Indoor Ride for Alton in 2012
it's obviously fake because of the ride opening and closing times.
At Towers all the rides open and close at the same time apart from the water rides/skyride.
I think also apart the normal roar, at IOA I suppose there is nothing stopping the sound travelling across the park as there is a huge frigging lake in the way :P.
Also, on the topic of sound, I miss corky's lift < / 3
Thirteen!
Unlucky for me. Every time I go on I push forward and then when it's dispatched I sit back for airtime ahoy... but one time they rechecked and the ride op nearly crushed my poor lungs.
Re: 'Hexenbesen'-possibly the most wierd flying coaster ever
I'm not going to reply because you asked people to... oh damn I already have.
Although I do agree that it looks crazy! I would love to go on this just for pure bizzareness.
^ nice post?
Anyway... 10 on Colossus AND 10 Inversion coaster at Chimelong...
To go with what seems a general consensus 10 is a bit over the top to be honest, I'd rather 7/8.
What?! Yes Oblivion and X-sector in general is run-down, but Oblivion still stands out IMO. I Wouldn't compare Alton, a theme park that has excelled at being handicapped to ANY park at Florida, you've also got to remember that Air is just a prototype which can't really go high enough for a...
Nice PTR! :D
Siam park looks absolutely fantastic, the slides look great and the general theme carried around the park is the definition of how a waterpark should be themed, good job this isn't in Florida, Disney would have a great rival.
I feel sorry for the waterpark down the road
^ Sorry I didn't make myself clear I meant everything else about Saw :P.
But yeah, tbh I loved detonator! It really took me by surprise, as you asked - I'll give it a 9/10
Re: The Swarm - B&M 'Wing-Rider', Thorpe Park 2012
I have exciting news, They have already put the 'EXIT' sign up, they did it 2 weeks ago. Now crawl back to your mud.
Overall.... I haven't got many bad words to say about Thorpe.
As a park, I love it, it has a superb mix of rides and with thrills around every corner.
There are only a couple of things that irritate me about thorpe, the location of Storm Surge, and X/: Please Let Me Out.
Storm surge is a fun...
Terror Castle is little hidden gem, or a hidden horror. I was expecting much from it but it's really quite disturbing. Thorpe take not  better than saw  .
Shockwave wasn't nearly as rough as I expected and was entertaining. Astrostorm is in my opinion a nice fun ride, although it...
Re: Leviathan - B&M giga coaster for Canada's Wonderland
If this ride was in any other park, I'd probably be loving it right now, as a track and a ride it looks fantastic. However I see absolutely no point in this ride being at Canada's Wonderland when you have the exact same ride type in...
The front part of the park is in my opinion quite a lovely little place, but as stated the back is quite tacky. Upon entering the park and turning around the corner, I became instantly intrigued by Dragon Flyer, and personally though of it as a 'Hidden Gem' haha.
Whirlwind was a bit of a let...
Re: "Unknown", B&M Invert for Parc Asterix
You need to brush up on your inversions, that is not a zero g.
On topic, this ride is shaping up to even rival nemesis and even Montu, let's hope it rides as good as it looks.
