There's enough space in the park for multiple new coasters in that corner without getting rid of KK. Not only do they have Green Lantern to work with but they also have the old Rolling Thunder spot as well.
Right now its still way too early to tell what they'll get but a giga is a possibility...
Hail to the king! A couple observations about KK and SFGAdv
SFGAdv's anniversary year was a bit of a miss. Nothing opened on time, and there were budget cutbacks everywhere!
But the park is clearly making major changes to the park. The biggest being the new entrance setup. The old ticket...
Ridden a bunch of these since then
1. Nemesis - Love these old school B&Ms. The layout is short but it packs a serious punch. I love how the ride weaves in and out of the valley and around the theme elements placed throughout. This is the best overall invert I've ridden.
2. Afterburn
3. Montu...
Nope. Bought mine at Canada's Wonderland and activated it at Carowinds. I can't speak for that in the future because both chains merged together and it could go either way.
The benefits on your current pass should stay the same, so upgrade the pass with the better benefits.
You can actually get the exact same pass for much less buying from Canada's Wonderland. Instead of paying $205, you're only paying $165 for the same pass after the exchange rate. I did that a few years ago and saved quite a bit on my current pass instead of buying from my home park.
I'm letting...
Since I forgot to post this one Cedar Point
Me and my old roommates had a massive trip planned starting from Carowinds and park hopping all the way to Cedar Point. The original plan was to start in Orlando and make our way up, but COVID had its way and through a year of delays, we had hotel and...
Halloween is the most wonderful time of the year for me.
I love the vibe that parks give off in the fall. I love visiting different theme park haunt events and seeing how they compare to my home haunt. I love how parks are open later into the night. The weather is pretty consistent this time of...
My educated guess is that Family Kingdom pretty much has a lock on the amusements in Myrtle Beach. It has a great location, bigger rides, and its relatively affordable for everyone. Funplex was a tiny little park that barely filled a city block and had 6-7 rides. Why pay for 6-7 rides when you...
Started 2024 at 328 coasters
Added 34 coasters across 3 countries on 2 continents. Finished with 362 coasters
Favorite new coaster: Ride to Happiness
Least favorite new coaster: Woodstock Express - Dorney Park
Favorite new park: Alton Towers
New parks visited: Holiday World, Beech Bend, Alton...
If you work at KD, the park will organize official trips to other CF parks (and I'm pretty sure starting next year, you'll be able to get admission to Flags as well). As long as your work schedule doesn't conflict with the trip, you could always do that.
You could also visit CP on your own...
What a coincidence. My last credit was
362. Untamed
I do enjoy a good Eurofighter and this one is solid. That being said, the front row is stupidly rough while the back row is incredibly smooth. I love the lodge theming and all the little touches the park did to make it fit into the park. The...
If you visit BGT on a slow enough day, you only need one day. Just avoid most holiday periods and you'll be fine. Same with SWO, just visit on a slow day and you won't need to wait long for the coasters, slow ops or not
I'm glad to see some progress being made here, although I really can't see an April 2025 opening at all. Any word on if it got pushed back?
I love seeing all these smaller parks like this and Mattel spring up. It beats seeing perpetual concepts and delays with larger projects like American...
So from an outsider's perspective, I went to Chessington for the first time ever this year and thought it was ok.
The ride selection is alright for what it is.
Yeah the operations are trash compared to the other two larger UK Merlin parks, but coming from the States, the operations aren't...
The Jersey shore parks were hit pretty hard during Sandy, but most of them rebuilt and are more successful than ever.
BGT has faced many hurricanes before and they're doing just fine. Milton won't be any different
The number 1 rule to any park visit IMO
Have fun! This hobby is all about visiting places that people to to escape reality and enjoy themselves. Some people like to take this hobby way too seriously. If that's your idea of enjoyment, then go for it! I personally like taking things a bit slower...
