And both of these replaced Rudolph themed family coasters. When I read @TPoseOnTantrum's post, I was certain that it's pretty old news, as I was sure I heard of it a while ago.
They're my second most ridden manufacturer behind Vekoma and have also made the brilliant Ride to Happiness that still seats on the top of my list. Here's all of the coasters I've ridden that were made by Mack (in chronological order);
#11 Alpenexpress Enzian OG, Europa Park (April 2007)
#12...
Voltron is an absolutely awesome coaster, but it's also headache/sickness-inducing bumpy. I haven't done Hyperia yet, but hopefully it does fare better in that aspect.
I'm living in a bit of a no-man's-land when it comes to theme parks and unsurprisingly people often ask me how I even got into this hobby when there's so few proper parks nearby.
The closest rcdb listing is the alpine coaster (https://rcdb.com/13033.htm) next to lake Bled. It's about a 30...
I take it you haven't been to Mirabilandia (or just gave up on your way to Reset).
A bit bummed I didn't get a chance to re-ride it on our recent visit with CF, when we got to the park late and the ride ended up closing even earlier than its already early 8pm closing time. Hopefully it's...
The only coaster that I only got one ride on and is currently ranked in my top 50 is Lost Gravity in Walibi Holland. The only time I visited the park since LG's opening was in 2021 when anti-covid measures were still in full swing and most of the major rides were only available through a virtual...
While I would love to give some local ex-Yu knowledge, I'm afraid I can't really give you a particularly definitive answer. I feel like Yugoslavia (unlike say, Soviet Union and other countries that were firmly in the Eastern block) mostly relied on small travelling fairs rather than having...
From an European's point of view, I find it insane if people think that everything will become cheaper if they vote Trump back into office. Biden had the misfortune of becoming president at a time when every place in the Western world went through a massive post pandemic inflation and I do not...
Yeah, as of right now, the only major rides that still close before the park does are I Corsari, Colorado Boat and Flying Island, so not a big blow for anyone planning on doing the park this Summer.
There was an awkward overlap when Fantasiana announced their new coaster just at a time when there were rumors that Prater's Wiener Looping project was getting canned and the ride was being sold.
Anyways, more on topic, some work on Helios' (the name of Fantasiana's Stryker coaster) station is...
Nice to see this still running. It looks like the coaster got a nice spruce-up since late 2022 from when the rcdb photos are from. The trains looked in pretty sorry state back then.
Alright
#378 - Wild Train, Fantasiana
Well, this was amazing. The ride doesn't look like much from the ground, but just looking at the shaping of the hills tells you this isn't any ordinary family coaster. Or that it isn't a family coaster at all. The ride starts relatively pedestrian, though...
A bit of a necrobump, but the ride has now been sitting abandoned since 2019 and is reportedly on sale for around $169k.

Safe to say I'm not feeling particularly hopeful on this one ever running again.
EDIT: @roomraider, how sure are you...
That mall park in Qingdao is so odd. The entire mall was SBNO for ages before it reopened in 2021 and now the rides are apparently SBNO again with the stuffed pandas taking over them? Bizarre.
Here's a video of it a couple of years before it reopened.
I'm not sure on how many people on here have managed to ride it, but the big Pendolo shuttle coaster at Ai Pioppi was pretty damn terrifying. Everything in that place is home-made, the ride is pretty tall, powered by a sturdy diesel engine and with a train that was welded together using pieces...
But then you end up missing out on 11 acts. Latvia's song last year was probably my second favorite behind Finland and they didn't even make the cut to the final.
But yeah, also all in on the Lasagna bandwagon. Marko comes from a small Croatian town just across the Slovenian border and he's...
I think they're fairly inoffensive, at least the one in Skyline Park was more fun than any of their remaining coasters are. But both their capacity and their reliability are absolutely horrible, so I have no idea why any somewhat major park would want to build one and why Maurer are seemingly...
Re: the rattle on RtH, do you feel there's a significant difference between the two trains? When we went, none of us thought the ride had any sort of noticable rattle, but it was also less than a year after opening and one of the trains was out of service after an accident earlier in the year...
