The Zamperla ones take ages to get going and dont have the motors activley 'forcing' the swings like the Intamins.
Compare: This video has a 10 second intro, and the ride is reaching full height at 0:50....40 seconds to reach full height from a standing start...
Why couldnt you just walk to the entrance of Thor and ride it?
Yeah the park has a wierd layout but I still rode Supersplash/Thor/Ragnarok just fine since they are still reasonably close together.

Australia now has an alpine coaster, at the Thredbo ski resort in the Snowy Mountains.
The location is bit annoying, about 2.5h away from Canberra / 5.5h away from Sydney.
(Still, I'll try and get down there in the next few months!)
