Can see why though. In the thread someone posted a video complaining about a kid copping a blow to the chest due to the speed it sometimes hits the wall at:

Ahhhhhhh I'm going to be there in 3 weeks. I was sort of half expecting something like this, and thought the worst of the problems were behind them, but still its annoying. Fingers crossed I don't get spited by the Topple Tower, I love riding the weird stuff.

Pleasure Beach Resort | Aviktas | Intamin Gyro Swing | 2026

Thats the thing. They're not. The Zamperla ones take ages to get going and dont have the motors activley 'forcing' the swings like the Intamins. Compare: This video has a 10 second intro, and the ride is reaching full height at 0:50....40 seconds to reach full height from a standing start...

I love how North America literally has no idea how good these rides are.

What theme parks are the most GP friendly?

Not necessarily good for enthusiasts but good for everyone as a whole? Need some good suggestions.

A Viking Journey (Tusenfryd, Emerald Park) - July 2024

Why couldnt you just walk to the entrance of Thor and ride it? Yeah the park has a wierd layout but I still rode Supersplash/Thor/Ragnarok just fine since they are still reasonably close together.

What was your first coaster to feature airtime?

I mean technically the wooden mouse at the Adelaide show was my first cred and has a bit of lift on those dips and hills at the end. But first decent sustained airtime? Superman Escape at Movie World.

Why does the South West of England lack major or semi-major theme parks?

I think it could be because the geography isn't as advantageous. Clearly anything in London will do well. And Alton is in the middle of the country, and quite convenient to larger cities. Blackpool is fairly well placed to for the major cities in the north. But then the south west is sort of...

Now that would be an extreme sport.

Arabian Nights: Exploring the Coasters of Saudi Arabia (Part 10)

Come on man! Tooty = Tutankhamun But agreed the name is probably the funniest theme park name out there.

This 100%. The graphics seem family friendly on the poster.

Wiener Prater | Wiener Looping | Mack BigDipper Coaster | 2025

They are completely separate coasters. You can tell by the teasers shown by both parks

37 minutes at Luna Park Sydney

Aww did you have a look in Coney Island Funny Land at least? And the Rotor is good too. Too bad the Wild Mouse is still under construction. First time I've heard Big Dipper described as smooth. Granted I only rode it shortly after opening where it would shake/vibrate (much like Steel...

This trip report would be better if it was more of a writeup instead of being like a twitter feed of what you are doing at an exact moment. And pics.

    Bellewaerde Park | Amazonia | Intamin Rapids & More | 2024

I'm visiting in August, I know this the exact sort of attraction that will be neutered eventually.

Australia now has an alpine coaster, at the Thredbo ski resort in the Snowy Mountains. The location is bit annoying, about 2.5h away from Canberra / 5.5h away from Sydney. (Still, I'll try and get down there in the next few months!)
