Ran down to Thorpe in the rain on my lunch break and managed to catch the first train test! Absolutely buzzing, there was a great atmosphere in the park.
Delighted to confirm it looks anything but slow in person, apart from on the outwards banked turn into the inversion. That part looked like...

I've only been lucky enough to get the front row on Red Force once, but we didn't have Express Pass at Ferrari Land. The staff are usually very strict about allocating rows and wouldn't allow me to wait an extra train for the front.
Having ridden Red Force this weekend, I am firmly in the Stealth supremacy camp on this one. Stealth is much punchier and gives me a bigger adrenaline rush. The launch on Stealth has so much more kick to it, plus the airtime hill gives a great pop.
Red Force is a superb night ride with...
Dont be concerned @Matt N - Mako is awesome! A very worthy Number 1 coaster. I've ridden Silver Star, Candymonium, Behemoth, Shambhala, Intimidator, Apollo's Chariot, Diamondback and Nitro; and for me personally, Mako easily takes the crown of the B+M hypers. It is a world class coaster, more...
Can't wait to hear what you think of Busch Gardens Tampa and Iron Gwazi @Matt N
Great reports so far, hope you and your family are having a fantastic time!
When I first got into the hobby, cred counting felt like a big part of it. It also felt like a social thing - I was way more inclined to ride kiddie creds when there was a group of people on a CF Live to laugh on a Big Apple with. It gave the smaller park days structure and purpose. It felt like...
It's also worth noting that Thorpe Park is a fairly small park, so you won't spend a long time walking between rides. I go frequently and have never, ever needed to buy fast track, even on busy days. The trick is to arrive early before it opens and get on lots of rides first thing in the morning...
Hello, welcome to CoasterForce!
Accommodation-wise, there's a Travelodge in Two Rivers in Staines. It's a short walk from Staines train station, where you will be able to get a shuttle bus to and from Thorpe Park. Two Rivers is a nice entertainment complex with food and a cinema, so you will...
Well, I certainly have the post-Live glow ❤️
Thank you very much to everyone who came along to Thorpe. What a fantastic day! Nice weather, minimal crowds, short queues...couldn't have asked for better Live conditions. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet some new people too...
Apologies for the double post. But just wanted to clarify the meeting point is here:
Near the toilets outside the main park entrance at 9:30am
I will be wearing my most garish Fury 325 shirt so you can all easily spot me!
Don't forget to allow time to get through security beforehand...
The time has nearly arrived, see you all on Sunday!
If you would like to bring one small item of Theme Park Tat (merch) to donate for the Raffle, it would be greatly appreciated.
😥😥
😭😭😭

Thank you for the in depth review @Trooper Looper - ngl, it's really sad to hear they've removed all my favourite parts of the ride.
I absolutely loved both The Haunted House and Dual, interested (read: nervous) to see how The Curse will compare to the previous iterations.
Taron ERT for hotel guests at Phantasialand during the CF Live. I did 15 laps then, and also rode it twice during the day for a grand total of 17. There's not many coasters I can lap over and over again, but Taron is definitely the one.
Also had ERT on Twister at Grona Lund a few years ago and...
Gaitlinburg and Dollywood
Readers! Get those hiking boots on, cos this ones a rambler. (To cut straight to Dollywood, scroll about 12 paragraphs down)
After our sweaty time at Six Flags Over Georgia, we had a day off from theme parks.
Prior to this, we had made a little agreement. As I was...
