Comparing the POVs, there's about a four second difference in ride time from disengaging lift chain to hitting the brakes.
That's a reasonable amount on such a short layout - the new one is approx ten percent slower than the other version.
Day two : Zakopane
This mountain resort is approx 2hr 15 from Krakow and is mainly visited for the Tatra Mountains nearby. It's a nice place and very popular in both summer and winter.
I happened to spot a cred but it wasn't quite finished (spite grrr). It's called Jungle Adventure but I can't...
Hi everyone. So it's time for my third trip report in 11 or 12 years on here. I've got time so here you go. I spent ages writing this and editing photos so I feel for @gavin and his comprehensive reports from China ?.
After seeing Zadra would open early, I decided my late summer trip would be...
Zadra (Energylandia)
I'll write up a trip report at some point but just finished a day at Energylandia so it's a fresh time to review this one.
My first RMC (basic I know). Morning ride was pretty great - the first drop is absolute madness especially with a lapbar. The rest of the layout has...
From the video this looks like the Euthanasia Coaster.
I get that CGi renderings are always a bit off, but they've animated such excessive speed through some of the elements that it looks practically lethal.
So I'm guessing this is a powered coaster similar to one of those Maruer ones?
Nemesis Inferno is better than Black Mamba?...
You obviously haven't been on the front row of Black Mamba otherwise you wouldn't make such a scandalous comment ;)
Tidal Wave at Clarence Pier. That extended SBF visa spinning thing.
Super smooth and has a nice start, but the drop in the back row was brutal.
Because the train is pretty long, you get whipped down the drop and jolted out of your seat.
4/10 soz SBF
Megablitz at Wiener Prater:
Doesn't do much, but is pretty smooth and has to have some of the highest-intensity corners out there.
Would be an awesome travelling ride but it's a pretty mediocre permanent one. 6.5/10
I've just got back from Wiener Prater and rode the original Volare.... trust me that's a bad ride. Rattlesnake at Chessington is middle of the road at worst.
Give it a rest. You can clearly see the similarity between this and Intamin GIga track which is what @bernatc22 was going for.
Regardless, nice to see accurate promo for Taiga!
I'd love to know how much these model cost. Clarence Pier also bought one recently and I just don't understand how they could afford something like this unless they're dirt cheap...
