I think it definitely feels forceful on the loops. The rest of it isn't too intense but those loops are some of the highest-G-puling out there statistically and it really hauls through them especially in the back row.

    Biggest Disappointment...

I agree that the flow is kinda off and it's a small ride but the drop still kicked ass IMO. Front row and third row both gave me that freefall feeling I love Dive Machines for.

Dæmonen - Tivoli Gardens It's not very impressive to look at but the floorless trains are great, and the inversions are old-school B&M intense. Personally, this ride's Zero-G was my favourite of any coaster so far. It's a really fun ride.

    Biggest Disappointment...

To join the Balder debate - it's definitely more formulaic and predictable than other woodies which certainly detracts form the usual 'wild' feeling they give. But the airtime is still ridiculously intense, especially in the back row. So it escaped disappointment for me.

    Biggest Disappointment...

Yeah maybe that's it - they're presented in such an immersive and impressive way that the rather average ride experience seems, in contrast, more disappointing. They have some good moments but as a whole, not the incredible pinnacle of spinning coaster that I had imagined.

    Biggest Disappointment...

I'm intrigued - for anyone who's ridden both - which is rougher: The Big One or Furios Baco?

    Biggest Disappointment...

For me it has to be the Winjas. I'd heard amazing reviews, the design and concept was awesome but my first go (and first ever ride at Phantasialand) was very meh. They car barely had any spin, and we didn't 'duel' the other side as we went round the giant helix which is kinda the centrepiece.

The grammar displayed here is making me anxious.

So Olympia Looping is back in London and obviously I had to reride. It's a magnificent piece of design, and has some great vertical gs. But also terrible restraints that mar the ride, not many laterals, and it's £9 a go.

Kentucky Kingdom | Kentucky Flyer | Gravity Group Family Wooden

That's what I was wanting to say but couldn't think of the right words. They've created a few mounds, that doesn't make it a terrain coaster.

The biggest thrill in the smallest package?

Twister at Grona Lund is 100% the standout for me here. It's so compact, and not on an impressive scale at all. But it's super fun and punchy ad everything a wooden coaster should be tbh.

Mundo Petapa | Relámpago | Zamperla Thunderbolt

Honestly I couldn't give a rat's anus about a Finnish loop. If that's the most distinctive USP of an entire coaster model then it's not exactly a stand-out is it?

Mundo Petapa | Relámpago | Zamperla Thunderbolt

It's nice to see another variant of this model, but we Gerst's Eurofighter did all this about 15 years ago so it's kinda boring nowadays. I wish they could have done something a bit more interesting with the layout to make it stand out.

Ankara, Turkey | Wonderland Eurasia | Theme Park

Ohhhhhh see sorry completely missed that they haven't bough it! Okay makes much more sense. And @Pokemaniac okay thanks! I suppose it's like buying an existing house vs a new build project. I'm glad this place may have a future now at least, even if it still has a somewhat fishy beginning.

Weird, Wacky & Strange Coaster Bits

The profiling on that track is horrendous. It's like a backyard wild mouse coaster. The setting is stunning though so fair play!
