To me the inversion looks more akin to an inline twist, than a zero-g roll type element, it just looks rather flat tbh, will probably still ride brilliantly though.
Those pictures really show the amount of wood that has been added to the structure for each element, it's in no doubt really that this is going to be over 200ft, just by going to the amount of wood added to the other elements, a comparable amount added to the lift hill would nudge it over 200ft.
Probably the same lot that climbed West Ham's stadium, have to admire their bravery but scoff at their stupidity, how could they have climbed though? The supports aren't exactly climb able, I could see them using the track as a 'ladder' or does stealth have a ladder/ lift going to the top like...
I always go with friends/ family so no other enthusiasts, but my friends will go all the rides anyway and my family no I'm a 'coaster junkie' so I end up getting on all the rides anyway just not as fast as I'd like. The most annoying thing is when the family want to take pictures, specifically...
That's the one (I get confused when it comes to six flags parks), thanks. Never less still the worst accident or at least the most chilling that I can think of.
That also reminds me, there was a fire at a haunted house at a six flags park (magic mountain or America?, I'm not to sure) it killed these people that where trapped inside and couldn't get out, the fire men couldn't tell the difference between the real bodies and mannequin props because they...
This begs the questions:
a) If he had either no or very little legs(below knee amputation etc) why wasn't they put into a harness thing which is commonly supplied for the disabled (some rides have these such as Montu.)
b) if they don't have these harnesses then why was he allowed to ride at all...
I just used zipped pockets because it's what I have, I'm sure that buttons would do the trick just as well, it's all really for piece of mind to be honest.
Step-up under flip are my bets, then under/over the lift as normal, certainly going to be an amazing element, I can imagine that the rides going to be blazing it through there.
The lift and drop thing reminds me of Divertical at Mirabilandia, all in all I think that this is going to be a wonderful addition to the park, provided that the theming standard continues in the same way as previous instalments.
The person has probably been caught or fired (if they were a worker) or told to stop as 'CP will be making an announcement soon'! (not really but one can hope, however all the debating and such about what's happening next is better fun than knowing the layout from the start and its more...
I didn't see anything untoward either but I felt it was worth the post just so that you lot might be able to spot something, perhaps a track mechanism or what not, to be fair I wouldn't be surprised if it was an unloading station to 'scare' the people waiting to get on ride when an empty train...
Wow, that seems as though it could be the best 6 seated dive yet, it's got a long (for a dive), fairly original layout, and looks like it will be a great addition! I guess we can assume that valkyria is a play or translation in the word Valkyrie, which is a Norse God who chooses who live and...
I agree, I thinks that's one of the appeals of terrain coasters and what helps lightning rod, you think that the ride is slowed and close to finishing and then you get a large drop raising the speed and thrill again, if only something like this could be done with mean streak, such as having the...
Can anyone tell me what the ride experience is like on these?
I myself from watching pov's don't see the appeal of these for a park, other than them adding to the coaster count whilst taking up less space. I mean they arent something that I would consider a must ride, but there must be some...
I see what you mean, thinking about it now I doubt that there would be the height or space to make the element worthwhile, it would feel like ticking a box, that doesn't need to be ticked to make the ride a good one.
I meant just Apollo by itself would sound good (I did fear similarities to Apollo's Chariot), I see what you mean with those hammer though, so I guess Thor: the ride has been used in some way.
