Great Post you could also add Blackpool to that list tbh as icon is the first "new" coaster to be built since the big one 24 whole years ago... Growing up in the 90's and visiting these parks as a kid there always seemed to be something new added each year. Admittedly not always a coaster but...

Pretty sure the original markings said 100 kmph launch. So it's possible if the hardware wasn't changed. I believe the launch speed is already variable depending on wind speed and direction anyway Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk

Deadly serious not many coasters are a as iconic 24 years after opening, people still genuinely run to the back of the park to ride it every day and the combination of the height and out of control feeling of the first drop make it unrivalled in the UK imo. Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
