Best coaster name of all time

the Michael Jackson thrill ride has to be up there... Seriously? I do like the way Fluch von Novgorod sounds, and Kumba has a ring to it too (especially with the way it ties the B&M roar with the swahilli word for a lion's roar)

    Best guitarist

hmm....as a guitarist....it's a toughie :P Brian May is defiantly up there....I got tickets to Queen + Paul Rodgers for my 16th birthday....he put on an amazing show, and the Brighton Rock solo was a definite highlight, the way he co-ordinates the echoes into cohesive harmonies and strings the...

    No Limits mac version

It's been a while since I've posted on here, so sorry if this is in the wrong forum or anything! Anyway, during my looooong absence from CF (not that I was an incredibly active member to begin with) I've made the switch from PC to mac....and lost NoLimits in the process. Obviously, being the...

    Thorpe Park: Easter event

I dunno. I went Easter monday last year and it was quite quiet, none of the ques got above an hour all day, and from about three o' clock onwards it was dead. Totally suprised me. Mind you it was freezing cold and snowing! ;)

The Thorpe reliability thread - 2009 edition.

^ I apreciate that, but when you visit a park knowing that a ride they have been advertising nationally for months (news coverage, tv, cinema, internet e.t.c) is more than likely to be down, together with the real possibility that at least one other Rollercoaster and major flat will be down...

The Thorpe reliability thread - 2009 edition.

two days in a row with all rides open? This must be a record for thorpe. Oh well. Hopefully I'll get on saw tommorow, after paying £21 for train tickets to the park. This is seriously getting beyond a joke. I shouldn't have to visit a park half expecting a least one of their major...

The Thorpe reliability thread - 2009 edition.

apparently, again according to thorpe park mania, and several comments on Thorpe's facebook, Saw operated for at least part of the day today. Heres hoping for the weekend, as I went out and bought my train tickets from Bristol for me and a freind earlier.

The Thorpe reliability thread - 2009 edition.

Found on the southparks forum, where I am not a member, but was having a poke around: So with any luck both will be operating at the weekend! :--D

The Thorpe reliability thread - 2009 edition.

From what I have read on other forums, the issue with Saw seems to be to do either with the effects, or with the trim, or with both. It would seem Thorpe has some kind of contractual agreement with Lionsgate to keep a certain percentage of the effects up and running. From what others have said...

    Jade Goody

Hundreds of kid's parents die of cancer every year. I know I have friends who have lost parents, and it is, I imagine, just about the worst place I could be. Having said this, their parents didn't make their money being controversial on ****house TV and then selling their story to whatever...

    A Pure Vomit Machine

Chavtastic. That would be a fantastic ride for thorpe. Few 30p cans of tesco lager and your set ;) Haven't laughed so hard at youtube in a while. Perfect display of Chavisms. Complete with 50cc scooter. Ah well. Probably had a better ride than saw's opening day.

    Furius Baco Heartline

From memory I don't think it was heartlined at all, I think it is just a flat spin, but very drawn out to minamise lateral forces. You can see what I mean in theis video, especially the section taken from further back on the train. Great ride though...

    Charity Singles: Serious Vs. Novelty

Novelty as the "real artist" is almost always gonna be a ****ty girl/boy band. And sometimes they are slightly funny. I hate the whole comic relief thing though. If I wanted to have charity rammed down my throat all evening on tele, I'd watch comunity channel. Some of the sketches are OK though.
