    Hardest final brake run slam?

I mean, Full Throttle at SFMM brakes you as you come down full speed from a hill and launch. That's gotta be up there.

I just returned from my first trip to Lake Compounce about a week ago. Despite the speed and setting of Boulder Dash, I found the bottom of about 3 hills to be really, really jarring... so that kinda put a damper on it for me. You didn't feel those? I like Phoenix, but it's been a very long...

SFMM | West Coast Racers | Premier Quad Launch Möbius Sky Rocket

Actually, I just returned from a trip where I got to ride Time Traveler about a week ago, so it's pretty fresh in my mind. I did enjoy it a lot. It's not really that intense, but it was fun, especially not knowing which way you'd face on inversions or launches. That said, they still seem to...

    Is Seaworld Dying?

^I think you have a point for Orlando. There's just so much competition so close by. I visited Orlando for many, many years before I ever got around to a single visit to their SW. And even then, after one visit, I haven't really felt compelled to return when WDW and Universal have more...

SFMM | West Coast Racers | Premier Quad Launch Möbius Sky Rocket

Knott's doesn't have space to work with. I think Hangtime gets a pass because it had to fit on a footprint the size of a Boomerang. Given that constraint, I think we got the best we could expect (maybe even better) for that space. I will concede FT was a much bigger disappointment, because...

    Is Seaworld Dying?

I can only speak for the SD Sea World... and obviously it's purely anecdotal evidence... but both times I visited the park this year, it was actually pretty crowded. For SD, last year was especially dismal with Ocean Explorer and that horrible Submarine Ride. Even I avoided the park that year...

SFMM | West Coast Racers | Premier Quad Launch Möbius Sky Rocket

And not that it does it anymore, but also first to break 100 mph. Also, both Ninja and Viper are quite uncommon styles anymore, so that has it's own appeal to fanatics. While I think SFMM has disappointed (I was really hoping for a Maverick style instead of Yolo, and I know most hate GL), I...

SFMM | West Coast Racers | Premier Quad Launch Möbius Sky Rocket

I saw on another board the name MaXX Force is pretty likely as the "XX" part is also 20 in roman numerals. Which would actually be surprisingly clever. Although I don't know if they really get to count 20 coasters when GL is SBNO.

    America's Fun Park (Branson, MO)

I also took an on ride video of the Ghost Train. It doesn't really spoil very much, as most of it (especially the second half) is took dark to see on video, and my recording skills are crap anyway.

    America's Fun Park (Branson, MO)

I was so impressed by this park, I went back the next day just for more pictures! First off, more of the unassembled Scrambler. These pieces were sitting in the distant end of the parking lot, with no fence around them whatsoever. Things are done differently in Branson, apparently. :) In...

    America's Fun Park (Branson, MO)

Hey, everyone! I'm new to these forums, but wanted to introduce myself with a trip report to a newly opened theme park in the US, America's Fun Park in Branson--just a few miles away from Silver Dollar City. When I visited the park, it had only been open to the public for about two weeks...
