I had high expectations for this film and it didn't disappoint. Highlights include a great score and moody atmosphere throughout. The film is also masterful at having the audience sympathize with Travis then be unnerved and repulsed by...
Why would this happen? The Sea World brand is owned by Busch Entertainment, which is now owned by Blackstone. We can probably expect the "Busch" names to change, but I don't see that happening with Sea World.
And Ben, BGA definitely doesn't suck.
^True, you can't expect someone who isn't an enthusiast to be familiar with ride names, stats, and workings, but sometimes a person makes a comment which leaves you no choice but to believe that they are too dense to be aware of the world around them. There's a topic like this over at TPR with...
Right now I'd say my favorite is Afterburn, but I haven't ridden it in years and suspect it's not as good as I remember. I've added lot of coasters to my count since I rode it last, so it might not seem as good as it did before, if that makes sense. If that's the case, then I'd say my favorite...
I remember awhile ago there was some discussion of an odd Batman clone which was to built exactly like the others, except for reasons unknown the first drop would not turn around completely and the final turn would be extended to compensate (the rest of the ride would be at an angle). Does...
I hope nothing comes out of this. Adding three hours a day could make for a work week well over 60 hours for students (including homework). The focus of the article seems to be on math scores. These are averages. I don't see why people that are already good at math should have extra hours...
Surrogates
Very forgettable, underplayed, and at the same time not nearly subtle enough. Even though it's not a very good film, though, it didn't infuriate me with its crappiness like many other movies do, so I'll leave it with a 5.5/10.
Well, I'm not the best at falling asleep on weekdays. I'm a night owl so even after going to bed consistently at around eleven for weeks on end, I'm still not tired and can't fall asleep. That said, I fall asleep almost immediately on my preferred cycle. :--D
If you're having trouble...
^Alien is the best horror film ever,
which reminds me, can anybody familiar with The Good,
The Bad, and The Ugly tell me which cut they prefer (extended or theatrical)?
Ben's not allowed to answer.
I now respect you to no end. TV news is complete trash (usually more reality TV than news) masquerading as journalism that appeals to the appeals to the inner child of the lowest common denominator.
^^There's nothing wrong with making fun of a movie at your house or in an empty theater, but I doubt anybody there appreciated you and you friends "laughing your butts off" while they were trying to watch the movie. Seriously, show some consideration for those around you. Uh... That's pretty...
This is fake because:
-The article is vague and lacks detail (ie "a lake in Panama...").
-Sloths live in trees, not lakes.
-The first four pictures only show the creature above the waist (why?).
-The creatures skin appears very pale and soft, not at all like the weathered, callous skin of...
^ I have to think that they'd at least keep Mythos and Sindbad (although I'm surprised there's even a possibility that they'd take out Poseidon's Fury) along with whatever is around them. But if not... Lame.
