Hyperion...
Maybe not, but the point I was trying to make was that both rides do everything they need to without any dead spots. No doubt, Hyperia is short for a hyper coaster. You could add more length but would it make the ride any better after those huge, unique elements or would it just be filler...
If the GP is put off riding this because they think it's unsafe, lets not encourage them to think otherwise. It will make the queues shorter for the rest of us :D
When I look at that map, I don't see dominance, I see a lot of parks in close proximity competing with each other. That seems likely to result in the smaller SF/CF parks being starved of investment (possibly moreso than they have been to date) and ultimately sold off or even closed.
If they...
You can count me in the "Hyperia is better than Voltron" camp too, though since I two of my three rides on Voltron were really rough, I probably didn't experience it at its best.
Didn't notice that. It was more a few things entering the station building from the queue, like unfinished bricks and bits of "webbing" (I don't really know what you call it) hanging from doorways. But there were plenty of small examples across the new area and the park at large where things...
I love Nemesis, rode it the year it opened and it was my number one UK coaster for 30 years, and my overall number one for a good number of years too. I will always have nostalgic love for it and it may always be my favourite UK cred. However, to say that Hyperia is not better in almost every...
^ I was one of those goons :D
We spent the day at the park on Sunday and got 5 rides on Fianna Force. It was closed when we arrived though so we did the boomerang first. I've already done that layout at Farup Sommerland but having it intertwine with the STC and the castle theming definitely...
They already tried that with their own woodie though, didn't they? ;)
As for longest intertwined coasters in Europe based on their definition, surely Icon/Big One/Steeplechase/Big Dipper? wins that :D
They are at least offering a free return visit due to today's issue. Not really much compensation for anyone that travelled a long distance for one thing only 😕
It also means the rest of the park is rammed now. At least the sun's out though!
Got 2 rides yesterday and only waited just over 2 hours each time as I decided to bide my time and ride everything else in the park first. Operations were great across the park as mentioned above and I waited less than 20 minutes for all the other rides. My first Hyperia ride was at 7pm and my...
Honestly, even as an enthusiast I was seriously considering whether to bother queuing again after my first ride, and even more so when the second was almost as bad :(
Sorry to double post but just noticed this. My second ride was on train 1 and it was still how you described it above (though it was still not the worst one!) so they haven't fixed it that quickly as this was May 7th :(
Had my first visit to Europa on May 6-7th and managed to ride Voltron 3 times over the 2 days. The park was much busier than we expected it to be and the main queue was 60+ minutes all day, but my wife didn't want to ride so I used the SRQ each time. It took about 30 mins on average to get on...
