A few new ones for me on the first 3 days of a Canada & US trip:
Leviathan - I loved this, not as much as Fury 325, but the first drop followed by the overbank turn and low airtime hill was great, shame about the trim towards the end and fairly short ride, but really good fun ride, especially...
I don’t actually mind the rebrand, it looks alright and suits their new focus. I hate that they’ve gone down the cringey Merlin route of calling it a ‘Resort‘ though!
Wildfire, Kolmarden - this was my first new RMC since Untamed in 2019 and it did not disappoint. The location and views were incredible, it’s definitely one of the most impressive looking RMC’s. In the morning, it was great fun with some good pops of airtime and fun inversions. In the afternoon...
Thought I’d finally commit to a Top 20 on here before my 2022 kicks off properly!
Steel Vengeance - Cedar Point
Taron - Phantasialand
Skyrush - Hersheypark
Phoenix - Knoebels
Lightning Rod - Dollywood
El Toro - SF Great Adventure
Helix - Liseberg
Schwur des Karnan - Hansa Park
The Voyage -...
With most of the recent artwork, it seemed as though they had moved more towards more generic themes (dinosaurs, dragons etc.) rather than all the various IP’s we previously heard about. It will be interesting to see what they put forward with the planning application deadline due in just a...
I rode Coaster Express in December 2019 and I think it has been closed since the park shut that Christmas. I must have caught it on a good day because I didn’t find it at all rough, just a fairly boring ride that didn’t do much for me.
Hopefully they will have success with the new launch...
I have had five trips to Phantasialand over the years, and I have never been in that area with the maze & Wakobato once…
I know there’s a lot of restrictions with the residential area right next door, but I guess if they could build a new theatre over that way for the dinner show, it would open...
It’s good to see this park taking shape!
I’m hoping to visit in mid-June on a US road trip. Has there been any talk around a likely opening date so far at all?

Tallest: Kingda Ka, Six Flags Great Adventure
Fastest: Kingda Ka, Six Flags Great Adventure

This sounds promising, do you know what was still left to add from the initial investment plan?
I was at Walibi in October on their reopening day and was really impressed with all the improvements since my previous visit in 2016. Kondaa was awesome, and Popcorns Revenge was a pleasant surprise...
