A lucky member of the "Guide to SFoT" forums was chosen for the commercial shoot, and you can find some good pictures and even a video here.
Also, you'll find a very detailed report by TPR's Jakizle here.
Not so much scream shields as it is don't get your arm cut off shields
But I think it needs to break in. they still have a good like, 44 days until the ride opens so that is plenty of time to get it broken in.
^I've heard that although the trains are bulky, that they're VERY comfortable and the lapbars are as well as they're very similar to the ones on all the Tony Hawk Big Spin clones (now just Big Spin)
There has also been pictures posted to TPR (see link in post above) and also here although it's mostly people shots) but there's one good station shot. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/albu ... 5853440990 (links are being dumb; copy and paste in your window)

According to several at Theme Park Review (http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49813&start=2330) the commercial shoot was awesome and the ride is "amazingly smooth" and destined to be a "success". It also has airtime- and lots of it. From intense ejector to smooth floater...
Well I believe that the blue train is the only real full train that has tested (to my knowledge). Whilst they're all on the transfer track, I'm not sure all of them have.
^ XD
But yeah I think as it hasn't really been running for long it may take awhile to break in. This looks like one of those rides that you have to experience before making a final judgment.
I wonder if my parents would consent in my skipping of school to go early? XD
And I actually sent an email to Six Flags to see if I can make it to be an extra in their Texas Giant commercial, so fingers crossed!
I have to agree with this. Revenge of the Mummy was not nearly as fun as I thought it would be, not that I had great expectations anyway.
But one of my favorites, even though it's not really themed, more enclose dthan anything, is Runaway Mountain at SFOT. It's just one of those really good...
This is the reaction I expected (that's not a bad thing).
It's religious **** like this that almost makes me doubt being religious, even though I am and always have been. Just dumb stuff like this just makes me wanna slap someone.
Yeah, after living in VA for 6 years I never went. I had always heard that it was extremely ghetto, in that there were a lot of crimes that happened there and gangs and stuff. That's really what kept my family from going there.
Everyone knows about the past doomsdays (Y2K) and the future doomsdays (December 21st 2012) but now there is a group of ten people who now have a belief that the world's judgment day will be May 21st of this year. They believe that all those that have led good lives and those who are "saved"...
Today was opening day, and Guide to SFoT was there to snap some pictures and even a short, albeit good video showing the latest modifications.

You can see the catwalks running down the drop for inspections
Here you can see catwalks have been added to...
