Hoorah! Interested to hear your thoughts later. Hoping to tick off Gotham City Escape, Toutatis, Kondaa and Ride to Happiness in the next few months and RtH is my most anticipated, so I'm excited to hear what you thought of it.
I went on Practical Info > Opening Times > Selected the date, and it came up there listing any attractions that are closed. On today's date it says nothing about RtH being closed so if it is closed, it must be unexpectedly I assume.
I hope not! So I'm visiting on the 9th of June and it says in advance that Dragon will be closed. It says nothing about RtH being closed tomorrow, so perhaps it's because the park isn't open yet?
Edit- Other rides say open today :/
Tbh I think the first half of supposed to be paced like it is, acts like a bit of a warm up. Personally I quite like snappy transitions when mixed with more graceful ones, makes the snaps pop!
As for the overbank/wall stall in the second half, it’s designed to give sustained floater so again...
Always nice to see differing opinions on things, although I have to ask, which elements seem drawn out to you? To me, almost all of the elements seem to be mostly rapid-fire ones in quick succession.
I doubt it'll be a welcome break as those usually are a lot bigger, see below:

Less than a fortnight unless the season begins, whatever they're doing, I hope Deep in Africa doesn't look like a construction site come opening. Very curious as to what on earth is going on, though.
Hopefully it makes ops faster on this, but I do feel a little sorry for whoever has to bend over and push that every 60 seconds! Can't wait to see this all finished, hoping the grass grows in a bit on the station exterior.
Glad they're doing the refurb work, I really am. I do worry how much they'll have to do though, at least to make it a park which is pleasing to look at. There's such a long way to go. If they're deciding to go down the amusement park aesthetic, I can live with that, but it needs a tidy, from the...
I'm assuming we haven't heard anything about a third party buying the tower? I know the ride itself (without modified restraints) is perfectly safe, but I think trying to open it elsewhere would be risky as I imagine once word spreads that it's the same ride, many people would hesitate getting...
Agreed, sounds pretty dire if that clip is anything to go by. I would say I'm surprised, but I honestly thought Icon had the only soundtrack that wasn't awful in my 2021 visit.
Not claiming to be an expert either... But as far as I can tell, this news just means it's still dead, but the lads behind it still want to drag it on for a few more payslips.
