I think there's been a few hints from companies that they have something to show off this year.
- Fabbri might be showing off more details on this contraption...
- Disneyland Paris (as mentioned in the other thread) have a conference to announce future projects (it was a separately...
Quite excited for the changes coming to Tower. I don't think they'll be touching the pre-show as the changes in story only take place in the elevators. Considering there was a rumour the non-Guardians re-theme was to remove the Twilight Zone branding this doesn't seem to indicate that this is...
Went to see IT: Chapter 2 on Friday. It was ok, very funny in places. Most of the "scary" bits were just really loud jump scares. It's super long and I felt bored in sections of the film, especially in the section of quite predictable sequences. The first scene is quite tough to watch, got a bit...
I'll miss Rameses, barely rode it but it was such an excellent attraction for spectactors. A drop tower is a good addition. The theming looks a bit odd, maybe it'll look better in person once completed but I'm skeptical. Also looks like the raised queueline that snakes around the rooftops of the...
That concept art is incredible. I was skeptical it was for Energylandia (thought maybe somewhere in China?) but @pawel98123 is rather convincing and those details are interesting.
If it looks anything like that it'll easily be the nicest part of the park. Also, for next year? I don't doubt it...
That looks like a really fab little coaster! I was looking at the park after the first teasers and this seems like a really big deal for them, hope it works in their favour.
Well overall I don't think there really any surprises and there was a lot of time used up by really lame announcements. I'll just summarise the more interesting bits that were shown off.
Disneyland (CA) - New daytime parade starting next Spring.
Soundtrack written by Todrick Hall and called...
This was the feed I was using and it died about half way so had to switch. Bert (Dick Van Dyke - this censors on other forums lol) making an appearance literally broke the internet for the whole convention, every stream died, so that was fun.
I'll write up a post highlighting all the nice new...
Thought I'd create a thread for all the park news to come out of this years D23, Christmas for Disney fans.
Last night was a media preview of the actual Parks pavilion where some interesting bits and pieces are being shown off.
There's an official blog post revealing some details - link...
I've actually seen the opposite fan theories, that they'll change the plans to something more relatable to the films. It's all silly talk though, if any changes are made to the plans it'll be to add a second attraction for opening rather than being a later addition. However I doubt anything will...
Saw a few films at the weekend. First was Dora and the Lost City of Gold. I didn't grow up with the TV show but was aware of its existence. I LOVED it! I thought it was very funny, the references to her asking the audience to repeat the word cracked me up every time. There are a few times where...
We didn't but I did ride them back in 2012 and I fully agree! I did try to get the others interested but more rides on Pheonix was the preferred option by that point.
Hopefully I'll get around to finishing this report at some point, been a bit busy recently.
Excited if this does happen but no idea where they have the space for something like this.
@Us3rmane makes some excellent points too. Holiday park would certiainly make more sense. I suppose time will tell with this one but the ride type would be a good choice for the Plopsa group.
