What's new

Conny-Land | Antares | RES Roller Ball

The coaster should be called "Crazy Professor". RES announced in 2018 that Conny-land will get a "Vertical Dark Ride", so the Roller Ball was a hypothesis. Now rcdb confirms our thoughts.

It amuses me that Switzerland is the home country of B&M and subsidiaries of Intamin (ABC Rides), it used to house Giovanola, and yet the country has only one park with one coaster taller than 10 meters. It was built by a Russian company.

Good to see they are building a second one from a domestic manufacturer, at least.

Lol, byeeeee.

These are a bit crap anyway, so no great loss. :D

Conny-land apparently just signed a deal with Ride Engineers Switzerland to provide a new attraction every other year. Brand-new attraction as in, completely developed from scratch and therefore a prototype. The Crazy Professor project is indeed still alive and will appear in 2022 as a 20m indoor freefall that tells a story using screens on multiple floors. https://www.parkerlebnis.de/conny-land-kooperation-ride-engineers-switzerland_128259.html

That sounds like just the right level of ridiculous I'd expect from this park, great news.

Uhhh what's the "flying style" coaster in that link???

This is so ****ed up, it's amazing!

Capacity will be terrible and it might be hard to get full 360º rotations if the cycle is short but the concept is great!

Conny Land started construction on the Crazy Professor indoor drop tower recently, they have an active livestream of the construction site going 24/7 through Twitch because why tf not;

Conny-Land is planning to add a RES roller ball coaster (possibly) for 2024.

It'll be placed on the roof of a new building constructed for their relocated bumper car ride, replacing the existing "Space Climb" play structure at the northern end of the park.
