Coaster I like but others don't: Laff Trakk! This was my first Maurer spinning coaster, and everything about it exceeded my expectations. It was an absolute blast of a ride, the spinning was enough to make it fun but not too intense for my grandma to ride (she enjoyed it too!), the theming was...
Orion at Kings Island was my last new credit! I rode it on July 8th and got 2 rides on it, and I thought it was fantastic! My first ride was great, but my second ride I thought was a better experience. The "wave turn" provides such a unique sensation of airtime and I loved it! Each airtime...
I'd say Splash Mountain has great theming, but in terms of layout and overall enjoyment? I've gotta say Ripsaw Falls. It's one of those rides that I honestly would've kept riding over and over again if I could!
I think it's genuinely good! I thought each airtime moment was good, and it was really fun overall. There were dull spots, but I feel like the positives outweigh the negatives. That, and the feeling I got while riding it was truly indescribable.
I'd absolutely agree with Levi, but I'd also put...
I'm probably gonna share my Top 20, but only give my thoughts on the first 10
1. Steel Vengeance: Yeah, it still holds up today, if not even more than it did before! I feel like I'm starting to realize what I love so much about this ride. The airtime throughout the ride is mostly different from...
I got a ride on it back on the 8th of July, and it very quickly entered my top 10. I've never really experienced airtime like this on any other B&M I've ridden, and it's overall a really fun ride. I'd place it right in the "middle" of the North American gigas personally.
I will say this; judging by the testing footage above, that trim is gonna kill the potential airtime going over the larger airtime hill. Sure, the floater will be amazing! But it also looks like the "finale" is severely more toned down than it could be.
Is it just me, or do the trains look like they may have a swinging mechanism/system? Especially compared to the ones they put on the older SLCs.
