    Toverland's Expansion Plan

I hope they don't build anything in that red circle. I think it'd destory the feeling of that area. It's really nice with that open feeling and that bit of untouched water really adds to that.

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

And to get your expectations back to the ground again this picture. Footers painted like a middle school drama background and emptyness...

    Coronavirus: Impact on Theme Parks

Heide Park is a bit lucky as the latest laws don't apply for them at the moment because the relevant numbers are not over the threshold in their government body. I think the region of every other German park except for Hansa-Park would be over that limit and thus the parks would not be allowed...

Record breaking Gerstlauer coaster coming to the USA

Yeah sure... both... Goldrush, Novgorod, Fury... Nice coasters. But that won't be the record. I doubt they'd do the fastest acceleration or the highest speed. Looking at kind of classic records Gerstlauer has we'd be with steepest drop or most inversions. It could be some stupid record...

Record breaking Gerstlauer coaster coming to the USA

Ride Entertainment reacted to a Facebook Post of that linked the record breaking coaster and the photo from page 1.

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

From all the pictures I'm seeing it feels like they're theming just little bits and pieces and not the whole area. I mean the water will definitely improve it but right now to me it just looks like a coaster sitting on an empty plot of land with a themed queue and station.

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

I like B&M inverters in the front. With those massive trains this is the only row that gives you good views. Not to say perfect views with absolutely nothing in front of you.

RMC Next Coaster Model after Raptor/T-Rex

Vekoma opened their first STC (Suspended Thrill Coaster) last year with Hals über Kopf at Tripsdrill. But yeah... the inverted coaster market is saturated. Even Intamin didn't really manage to sell more than 3 suspended looping coasters aside of the impulse coasters.

Plopsaland de Panne | The Ride to Happiness | Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster | 2021

It'd be stupid to design the ride in a way that it is likely to valley over water. You should not be able to force it to do that by adjusting the launch speed. (Nowadays) It's common practice to have the tallest element of a launched coaster right after the launch and thus if it is cleared the...

Which park are you looking forward to opening?

I'm pretty sure Europa Park won't open on 21st of march. Their website reads "closed until further notice". You're not up to date. And I'm not sure if we need this thread. I miss all parks.

Universal's Epic Universe Announced! New Orlando Resort!

Keep in mind that there are plans for a DK mine cart coaster thing. I won't judge the Mario Kart ride before I actually tried it but yeah... I would have loved to see a faster paced attraction for that franchise, as well. I understand why Nintendo partners up with another company with experience...

    Three Trends – Looking Forward

For some parks queues are necessary to manage the crowds in the park. If Phantasialand had virtual queues the paths would just be too crowded. Someone stuck in a queue is not out on the pathways. On the other hand he won't be buying merch, food or snacks. So generally parks don't really want the...

    Three Trends – Looking Forward

I think you can't compare the virtual queuing right now with virtual queuing in normal situations. The parks are not running at full capacity. The number of visitors is limited in most places.

Lost Island Theme Park | Unknown | Kanonen relocation | 2022

I don't know why but Energylandia built a SLC in 2015 and Sun World Danang Wonders built one in 2017. So Vekoma sells these things even over one decade after most enthusiasts decided they are only to be done once for the credit.

Legoland Florida opening a a Peppa Pig theme park in 2022

Can we talk about that sick coaster in the artwork? It looks rather intense. Can't wait to ride that!!!1!
